Called and confirm the type and color of vehicle and the sales person confired the vehicle in stock. By the time we get there the manager said they dont' have the vehicle and was trying to sell me an altern sales person confired the vehicle in stock. A few months ago, (August - 2008), in light of the energy crisis and because I desperately needed a new car, I researched and decided on a Honda. I found a 2008 model on the lot at Planet Honda and the sales crisis and because I desperately needed a new car, I researched and decided on a Honda. I found a 2008 model on the lot at Planet Honda and the salesman let me take it for a test ride. I decided to buy it and come back the next day with a Cashier's check. But when I came back the next day, the games began. The salesman and his manager immediately added $2,500 to the sticker price. I had taken off from work and here they were, jerking me around. What crooks! I did manage to get them to remove the extra charge and buy it since I was in a jam and needed a car. But the next day, lights were blinking and I had to stop at the side of the road. Planet Honda had not even checked the air pressure in the tires before I took it. That is the worst customer service I've ever had. I am still waiting for the customer survey - I will let HONDA know what jerks they have representing that company! More

I've had my 99 accord for about 3 years, and before I owned it my aunt brought it new from Planet Honda. I think Planet Honda's service is 2 thumbs up and will recommend them to anyone. The enviornment is friendly and you'll get to know people and they'll get to know you on more than just a drop off your car and go basis.The show room, the waiting room, and childrens waiting room is nice and clean. I like this dealer, like the peole who work here, like there work, and will continue to come until I no longer own a Honda! More

I purchased my Civic at Planet Honda in 2004. I just found out recently through another Honda dealership where I get servicing, that Planet Honda entered the wrong purchase date in the computer. Then I spoke with the Sales manager who informed me that this shouldn't be an issue. He wouldn't change the date of purchase. He said I should get over it. I called Honda Customer Service and filed a report. This should be easily taken care of and they were jerks about it. NEVER GO TO THEM. Go to Autosport Honda if anything. More

I visited Planet Honda hoping to trade in a Subaru for a minivan. The Subaru ran like a swiss watch...not a single thing ever wrong with it. It idled smooth as can be. They claim they would take the car for a test drive, look at it on a lift, etc. After getting the car back I started it to drive away, and it became immediately obvious they tampered with the car. It idled very rough and shook noticeably during acceleration. Furious, I confronted the manager and he said "things break all the time" and it's just a coincidence it happened when his shop guys were checking it out. So now I can't even get an trade in offer as high as before...They really stuck it to me. More

I would never reommend this dealers, they are number one cheaters...and I will never go to them... They have promised me that I will get approved and then at the time of delivery of the car they are sayi cheaters...and I will never go to them... I was buying new civic and finance it with their Honda finance institution. They said it will be no problem, I took the car and in few day I got letter that credit is not approved. I decided to return the car because I told them in first place I take only car with that advertised rate. They didn’t want to accept car, which I left anyway on their lot. They called me on the phone and threatened me with police etc. Till now they didn’t returned 1k down payment to me. AVOID THIS DEALER! More

I could elaborate and tell you the whole 4 hour story but ill make it short. After clearly telling them my price level on a used vehicle they said they could meet it but without giving me a 1 year warranty. ill make it short. I said I couldnt take it without the warranty but i didnt want to pay for one, they then told me I could have the warranty no change in price. (All this through a middle man which complicated and dragged out the negotiation process - contrary to what they advertise, this is FALSE ADVERTISING). I agreed to the deal and they asked me for my downpayment before i saw the contract , not thinking anything deceptive was happening. I gave it to them. They then showed me the contract which charged me 1100 for the warranty and the monthly finance price was the same because they lowered my interest rate , thereby trying to steal 1100 from me. I canceled the deal and asked for my check back , they said they couldnt give it to me becuase it was in a "safe". Dont go there they are first class theives. More

I am extremely upset with the fashion in which these issues have been, and are being handled by the GM, Nelson Saavedra. In our conversations he has been insulting, belligerent, and untruthful.<br>... the dealership has made a number of “mistakes” and has yet to offer a reasonable and equitable remedy, other than having me pay all costs involved. The following is a list of issues...:<br>1. While at Planet Honda, on... I was given an “official” price quote on a new car. I was assured that this figure was kept on file for 7 days... Upon returning to the dealership on... to negotiate purchasing the car, the official price quote was, “misplaced” by an unknown employee. The salesperson (H.W.) then wrote up a new price quote, which was $1,000 higher than the original quote. The salesperson and GM insisted that without the original quote, they could not verify the price. As I had a handwritten copy (written by the salesperson), I was able to prove the initial figure.<br>I feel that this “bait and switch” tactic is unethical, and poor business practice. Customers should not have to expect dynamic pricing figures...<br>2. The car was not prepped before pickup. I returned to Planet Honda on... to complete the paperwork, financing, and registration, and to acquire the car. Upon first inspection, I noticed that the car had not been preped as was agreed upon on... The following items were promised:<br>Repair tear in driver’s side leather seat – NOT DONE<br>Detail entire car to remove paint scratches – NOT DONE<br>Remove front license plate cover and install plugs – NOT DONE<br>The car was dirty, both on the exterior and interior, including dirt, dust, scratches, spilled beverages, and general “showroom” wear. I was assured that the car would be prepared as if it had not been a floor model. It was not preped correctly.<br>I agreed to return to have the seat fixed. I was also told that the dealership could not and would not acquire front license plate plugs for me, and that they were not even available. Ultimately, I ordered the front license plate plugs from another Honda dealer.<br>Again, these issues were called a “mistake” on the dealership’s part, as was the “misplaced” price quote.<br>3. Tags and regist. never sent to me... told that I would have new tags and the regist. within the week, which were necessary to have the car inspected in PA. After one week, I called to inquire to the whereabouts of my plates and regist. Told that the items were “on their way” and the dealership would contact me when they arrived. Never happened.<br>4. Incorrect sales tax for an out of state customer was assessed. I made it quite clear to the salesperson BEFORE entering into negotiations that I would like to know the correct sales tax charged to an out of state customer... knowing my full address, “researched” the issue and told me that there was a 6% sales tax on the purchase price... I formulated the TOTAL price of the car, or “out the door” price... This figure was used in neg. the final sale price... bottom line price was agreed upon and I purchased the car. This "mistake" was only made known to me when the dealer demanded the diff. on their error, else I would not receive my tags. Holding one's tags hostage is NOT good bus. practice. More
