Hi, unfortunately I am unable to confirm if you are, in fact a real customer or someone posting false reviews. It’s not uncommon for competition to post false reviews on other successful companies. Neither Brian or Dathan recall speaking with any customers about a VW purchase. GTI’s are a very specific and would be easy to remember. Since both of those managers rarely deal with customers on a one on one basis because of their roles in the dealership, it would be unlikely that neither would be able to recall a customer looking to purchase a GTI. With that being said, if you would like to verify some information, we would like to look in to this further. Thank you

I purchased a car elsewhere and thus I am not your customer. I am someone else's customer. This occurred about a year ago and there's no reason to waste my time contacting you. However, I can say this was regarding the new black 2016 GTI (given this was mid-2017 it'd be up to some debate whether it could be considered new) that sat on your lot for quite a few months. I found your salespeople and your management to be unresponsive. Deal with it.

Leaving a review one year later.... Sorry, I don’t think anyone is going to buy that. We are all about taking responsibility for our actions and we’re always looking to improve but it’s people who leave false reviews just like this that make these review platforms less credible. I’m pretty confident I know exactly who this is too just by looking at the screen name you are going by. It’s a shame really.

You just proved my point about the lack of professionalism regarding your dealership. Instead of taking criticism from a dissatisfied former prospective customer, you decided to cast aspersions and attack the review. That's exceptionally unprofessional and shows how poorly this dealership is managed. It wouldn't take much effort to find out who test drove the 2016 black GTI Autobahn you had on the lot last summer. After all, you only had ONE 2016 on the lot (heck, it was the only GTI on the lot at the time anyway). So if your really want to know, instead of assuming why don't you go do a bit of legwork? It's a shame since if you had been this responsive while I was trying to negotiate on the GTI you'd have sold me the car. Thank you again for proving my point. I hope many, many people see this review and your responses. I am quite sure they will get an accurate picture of the way you seem to operate. PS - I went back to my emails to determine who the sales guy was and it was Ed Carbonaro. I also spoke to Dathan and the other GM who I think was Brian. Still think this is a fake review? Shame on you.

Prospective customers should take heed of this entire exchange and the lack of their follow up. Now they realize that this really is a former prospect's review and they screwed up, please notice the lack of apology for falsely accusing this of being a fake review and assuming that I was actually someone else. If this is how disreputable they act against a legitimate review and then evade when they're in the wrong, what do you think they'll do when a problem with your car might cost them real money?

Again, it’s very common to receive false reviews and we generally give customer the opportunity to give us just enough information to verify the information. Especially when someone decided to write a negative review from an encounter from one year ago. It comes across suspicious. Difficult to verify on our behalf. We can not find you in our system but if we didn’t call you back as promised, we sincerely apologize.
