I was pretty confident about purchasing a Volvo after doing my research and learning that Volvo owners seem to be repeat buyers or they keep their Volvo for many years. Ralph D'Angelo was my salesperson. I felt very comfortable talking to him. He allowed me to take the car for several days to really get a feel for this vehicle without observation or obligation. There was never any pressure to buy this vehicle, therefore, I could make a relaxed decision on a very big purchase! I would recommend Ralph for anyone interested in purchasing a new or used Volvo. Ralph to the Rescue!! Ralph was wonderful to work with. I drive nearly 1,000 miles a week for work and I needed a reliable vehicle that would be safe and efficient. I knew Ralph was wonderful to work with. I drive nearly 1,000 miles a week for work and I needed a reliable vehicle that would be safe and efficient. I knew I liked Ralph when we went on a test drive and he got straight to the point. He wasn't trying to sell me on something that didn't align with my expectations. He understood that I needed to make a quick decision and a fast transaction. My second visit, I showed him the car I found online and asked to take it for the day. He had the car ready for me to take within five minutes. That evening when I came back to purchase the S60 - came the daunting task of unloading the contents of my full size SUV into a sedan. I unloaded 7 moving boxes worth of stuff onto the black asphalt and headed into finance to finalize the purchase. By the time we finished it was nearly 7pm and I still had the task of moving those 7 boxes into the S60 - or so I thought.... RALPH IS INCREDIBLE!!!! While I was in finance, he some how managed to fit the contents of my SUV including to child carseats into the S60. I hopped in the drivers seat and took off!! Thank you Ralph! More

My last car purchase was in 2005 for the Volvo S40 that I traded i I am writing this review after purchasing a used S60 T5 Volvo from Portland Volvo. My last car purchase was in 2005 for the Volvo S40 that I traded in with over 300,000 miles. You could say that I felt a bit overwhelmed with the prospect of having to look for another car. After doing a bit of homework I decided to give the folks at Portland Volvo a call to check out some vehicles that looked good. When I arrived I met Ralph D'Angelo who became my sales person. He wasted no time in showing me the cars I was interested in, having my car appraised for trade in and putting together price quotes. Two things really stood out to me in my dealings with Ralph and the team were a relaxed atmosphere with no pressure and professionalism. I highly recommend this dealership and Ralph in particular. Lastly, despite living in NH, my sale was flawless. When I went to register my car, all the paperwork was in order and it was super easy to do across state lines. Living in York I could go to Exeter but after working with Bryan Woodworth in the Service Department here at Portland Volvo, I have chosen to work with him each time. I trust his judgement and he explains things happening with my cars so I can make a good decision. This is the first time I have bought a used Volvo. It looks brand new and drives like a dream.
