My Review of Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge:
First, of all - I did not purchase a car here. MY experience with this dealership comes from shopping for a new car there and having a vehicle serviced there.

First, and foremost - their prices are insanely high. I guess because they are located in an affluent area they can try to get people to spend a lot more money than they should...I was quoted on several occasions lease payments for a Jeep Grand Cherokee that were atleast $85 more per month than other dealerships quoted me...Leaving out the details, I was quoted a lease payment of $585 per month on a car that I ended up leasing the very next day for $500 per month at a dealership in NY. Ramsey didn't even seem to want to make a deal, so I walked out. I just feel bad thinking about all the people that go in there and spend thousands more than they should - its disturbing.

Second, their service is horrible. I had a Dodge Charger serviced there because the fuel gauge would not read above half a tank, regardless how much fuel was actually in the tank. They had my car for two days - they told me they replaced the sending unit on the fuel tank, and did all this other labor....Well, when I picked the car up and filled the tank, the gas gauge still did not go above half! SO i ended up going to another dealership for the proper repair. You would think they would have double checked to make sure they fixed the problem - especially with a fuel issue! I had visited this dealer previously for tire repair issues, and those experiences were poor as well - nothing to really comment on, other than it took forever, the customer service isn't very friendly, and they could never find my work ticket when i went to pick the car up.

If you're shopping for a new car in North Jersey - do not go to Ramsey Jeep. They prey on people who don't do their research and even try to rob the people that do...

My Review of Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge:
I live in NY and leased a Nissan from Ramsey Auto Group about 18 months ago. I was so impressed with their knowledgeable sales staff and service that I looked to do business with them again a few days ago when leasing a new 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I had the pleasure of dealing with one of their long time employees, Stephen Ippolito. He was very straight forward, had excellent knowledge of the product and called back when he said he would. Even though Stephen was a 40 minute drive, $11 more per month and my locate dealer was around the corner from my house, I opted to lease from Stephen. My local salesperson had very little product knowledge, guessed at answering my questions, gave wrong answers and seemed more into sizing me up than serving me as a customer. Stephen was professional, I completed everything over the phone and through email. The Jeep was ready when I got to the dealership and my wife even commented on how pleasant the Business Manager was. Overall a 5 star transaction! I will definitely refer many of my friends and family members to Stephen.

This dealership is sloppy all around. For starters you can't reach them via phone. I've called several people on a Monday afternoon and NO ONE answers the phone. AND there is no voicemail.

The service department seems good but the sales folks are very weak.

Service department was terrible. Car was there for 19 days. 4 different times to fix the same problem. Dealer then tried to charge for all their errors, luckily Dodge national customer service stepped in an paid for it all. We will not set foot in this dealership ever again for service or sales. Avoid this place.

My Review of Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge:
i bought a 2012 wrangler unlimited/sahara. have found dealership extremly helpful and pleasant. they went out of their way to find me what i wanted fr. another dealer. the windshield had a defect in it and it was replaced without question. also i found rick and james very patient and informative when i returned with questions re: features and their use. only complaint is that i would have liked more for my trade-in. james had many different people look at my trade-in trying to get me more. unfortunitely it was not possible to get more.

I went to Ramsey Jeep because I live near the dealership and had purchased from them in the past. I could not have had a better experience. I had spent over an hour in another Jeep dealship only to have the manager walk away from the deal we were working on over $10 per month on a 2011 Grand Cherokee. I left that other dealership and came to Ramsey. I should have saved myself the time and come to Ramsey first. Not only was Ramsey Jeep professional and coureous, but they not only beat the price of the other dealership by $5 a month, but they did it on a 2012 Jeep instead of a 2011!! I have already recommended them to Family members.

My Review of Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge:
Our latest purchase (last week) is the 4th from Ramsey Jeep and its personnel continue to more than satisfy our needs. It is without question the finest and friendliest dealership I have ever dealt with: would we have bought 4 vehicles from them were it not? Kudos to the entire staff and management, but especially to Mike in Finance and young Ryan who are simply superb people; they make me and my wife feel special and at home each time we visit. Both are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and intent upon satisfying me and my family - I must add quite respectful as well. I've seen them interacting with other customers and they demonstrate those same qualitities no matter who walks thru the door. Also, they work very diligently to ensure we obtain what we want with the optimal of financing/payment arrangements. The entire dealership staff, both sales and service, deserves commendation for amiableness, courtesy, abilities, meeting commitments, and follow-up after each visit. Plainly said, we are very happy to have Ramsey Jeep and its people nearby to help, serve, and satisfy. Moreover, I'm proud to deal with and buy from an American car manufacturer, especially one with great personnel.

My Review of Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge:
We went to this dealer to buy a new Fiat 500 and ended up not only loving the car, but also the deal and the experience! We have dealt with other dealers in the past, but even though we had good and bad experiences, we always left with a feeling of having been taken advantage of. Not so at this dealer, Michael is open, honest, and personable! The experience is one I will not soon forget and will recommend it to everyone we know!
