**Avoid Rick Case Hyundai – Poor Warranty Support and Costly Repairs** ... I recently experienced severe issues with my 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5, specifically with the charging port fusing to the charging handle. Despite only owning the car for a couple of months and having 1,700 miles on it, Rick Case Hyundai in Plantation, Florida refused to cover the $3,000+ repair under warranty, claiming "It was physically damaged and Hyundai does not cover repairs for parts that are physically damaged." This defect required the electric charging company to cut the handle off the car, which could have potentially resulted in a fire. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I made 5 phone calls and sent 6 emails, including communications with 2 managers, just to get a response. I needed to know the repair timeline to rent a car at my own expense and sought a clear explanation for the denial of coverage. The service representative seemed to avoid my questions and ultimately reiterated their stance on physical damage not being covered, without providing substantial evidence or documentation. This situation cost me over $3,000 and additional rental costs before they finally opted to provide me a loaner car. Now, after picking up the car, Rick Case Hyundai is trying to blame me, alleging that the charge handle was forced out and caused the problem. I have a video that clearly shows this was not the case. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I was told 2. I called into the dealer for two hours getting the run around on status of completion. I had to drive there myself to be told by the advisor she didn’t know I was calling in. After I left my paperwork told me my tires weren’t rotated. This is a dealer and Hyundai standard . Again brand new vehicle purchased from this dealership. Nope. I call back Angie the service advisor didn’t even know why. She is the advisor over my service, handed my my paperwork before I left to not tell me. I schedule an appointment at 8:00am. Dropped off at 7:30am. Took till noon and the services weren’t even done. Manager took all day to call me to invite me back. Then questioned the tires I had. This is a brand new vehicle bought at this dealership?!? xxx is going on in this place. I won’t be back. I paid for these services at purchase. I won’t be back. More

However they replaced the wrong tires. I left the car dealership with a nail still in my tire, and the other worn tire on my car that was to be replaced was put back on. I know for a fact that they replaced the wrong tires because 1) one tire still had a nail in it; and 2) because I purchased a new tire 15k miles ago, which is by far the newest tire on the car and they destroyed that one. They claim they did the right thing through video evidence in the shop however, after searching complaints on them this seems to be a common tactic at Rick Case. As the video evidence does not show anything but the guy changing the wrong tires on the car. The service Manager lied to me saying they would replace my tires at no cost. More
Rita Case, I need your help! I bought a Hyundai Sante Fe in 2019 and included the extended warranty with my purchase. I decided to cancel that warranty within the allotted time I bought a Hyundai Sante Fe in 2019 and included the extended warranty with my purchase. I decided to cancel that warranty within the allotted time frame, but was never credited with the $1593 I paid for it. I've been trying to claim that amount as a credit since 2019. I'm paying out my car and only have 2 payments left. Nobody on your staff knows how to help me. Apparently, the money was turned over to the state of Georgia from the Extended warranty company. I would like to be reimbursed the $1593 even if you haven't received the money. It's not my fault that someone messed up. More

Upon returning, my service advisor, Samuel, acknowledged the initial error but assured me it was resolved. Unfortunately, the fault recurred shortly after. Even after mentioning a relevant TSB (TSB#21BE001H), which the technician supposedly had, the issue persisted. Despite leaving my vehicle at the dealer for 12 days, the TSB was not completed. Notably, there were no notes added to the ticket, complicating future diagnoses. This lack of resolution and attention to detail was disappointing and frustrating. More
While we started off on a bad note, my service advisor did end up doing their best to assist me with my issue. I understand that it wasn’t easy on both ends, I was stressed about a car I just got having t did end up doing their best to assist me with my issue. I understand that it wasn’t easy on both ends, I was stressed about a car I just got having transmission issues, and sort of arguing with my service advisor, which didn’t help his job in any way. But his continued efforts to help me with my situation worked in my favor because the dealer was able to get my entire service covered. I’m glad they relieved me of this, and I would definitely recommend talking to this dealership about your issue so that they can further assist you to the best extent possible. More

On 09/07/2023 I paid $84.79 for a oil change and tires rotation then on 03/14/2024 I paid for the same service $173.11 including a new daytime running bulb light (already out) that supposed to last longer then the cheap that I have been using (Mr Samuel Patterson words). At the end was paid the amount take or leave it kind of situation. Ugly!!! More
