The vehicle was totaled in April of 2010 and I have left about 15 (not exaggerating) messages for Tom Bowman and received NO CALL BACK! I finally caved and went into the dealership after 2 weeks of calling him and getting no answer. A gentleman named Ed informed me that Cathy Hall mailed some paper work to the gap insurance company to clear up the mess. The entire reason that the gap insurance has denied my claim is because Right Honda didn't do the paperwork correctly when they sold me the car. In the last 3 days I have left 5 messages for Cathy Hall and (as I'm sure you've already guessed) she has not called me back! LET ME GET THIS RIGHT!?!? YOU SELL ME A BOGUS GAP INSURANCE POLICY, MESS UP THE PAPER WORK AND THEN REFUSE TO TALK TO ME!!!??? More

I mainly dealt with the Fleet and Internet Manager, Rick Morse. He was professional and courteous at all times. He was never too pushy and was willing to negotiate prices with me. That helped me to better gauge whether it was worth my time to deal with Right Honda. Turns out it was! From the get-go, Rick knew that I am from Tucson and have limited access to Right Honda in Scottsdale, so he offered to deliver the car to me. When I mentioned the delivery charge, Rick decided to give me the delivery free of charge without much pressure from me. And when I finally decided to go with Right Honda, I told Rick "yes" in the morning around 10 AM and by 10 PM that night, I was driving my new car. I am impressed with their speed and professionalism. Even the truckers bringing the car took effort to call me and update me with their progress en route from Scottsdale to Tucson. In fact, Right Honda got the car to me so quickly that I had to rush to activate my car insurance! Lastly, the price we settled on was comparable to the prices I negotiated with dealers in Tucson. And their willingness to deliver the car to me saved me time, gas money, and extra work I might have had to do in traveling up to Scottsdale or Phoenix. As a first-time buyer, I'm glad they respected me and did not try to take advantage of me once I had shown I had done my research. I'm grateful for this very pleasant business experience with Right Honda! More

On December 21 I took my 2004 Honda Element to Right Honda dealership for repair. The auto had a wiring problem. On further diagnosis they said that the ECU was also bad. They would charge me over $1000 and three days to repair the problem and replace the ECU. Immediately while the conversation was going on with the repair manager, I was approached by one of the salesmen. He was extremely persistent and almost desperate in selling me a new vehicle. The Sales Manager also was very persistent in selling me a used Toyota Sicon which I did not like and he was extremely upset at my refusal. He (sales person) offered me $7000 for the trade-in for a new Honda Element. After about an hour of negotiations He started to write up the contract. While going to finance I noticed that the trade in was now changed to $6000. He said he had to do that because my car was an LX instead of him thinking it was an EX. He quoted the price on an LX. Yeah sure! He could be that stupid! What a liar and a cheat! I was out a $1000. This was about the lowest trade value for that model. I was extremely disappointed, and at the same time fearful that if I cancel out now I would magically find further future problems with my old Element that is now in repair, when I got home and the repairs would escalate to a much higher level. This was fear was based on a previous experience with another dealership in the past. I completed the transaction and paid cash! I removed my belongings from My Element and with all of the paperwork, registration, etc. I could not find the title to the vehicle, which was always with the Element. At the same time the salesman wanted to take my photo and give him five stars for the transaction. Incredible arrogance! This idiot deserves a big Zero in his performance and evaluation. My car purchase experience with Right Honda was one of the worst I have ever encountered in my lifetime of auto purchases. The sales people are desperate and aggressive and will cheat you at all cost. I will never come to this dealership, even if I have no other choice for purchase, warranty or repair. I realize that times are hard right now, but to take advantage of seniors in this way is despicable. More

The staff was courteous, and it so happened they had another minivan the same year as the one we had tested before, so we took it for a test drive. My wife loved the car since it was in very good shape and not abused like the one we saw before. When I asked for a price, they gave me a price 4000 above the very highest book value. We're not talking about a new car, we're talking about a 7 yr old car. 2002 Honda Odyssey, with 65K miles, they were asking $15800 I laughed at it and told them that price is insane, the normal price range for that year and mileage should be somewhere between $8000 and 12000. I told them, let's go inside and look up the TMV value on Edmunds.com. So we did. They kept laughing at me, then we looked it up (except they selected "outstanding" for the condition of the car, which it was not. It was in very good condition, but there is a noticeable ding on the passenger door and paint scratched on the rear bumper which I didn't see at first because it was getting dark. Also when we got home, the glove compartment door fell out (there was a missing screw). I wouldn't call that "outstanding" otherwise the car was in excellent shape. The top range of the TMV value was right about 12000, so they said 12000. I kept negociating with them, and asked them if they would sell it to me for 11500, which in my mind is still high, but since my wife really wanted the car and I was exhausted by that time, I was willing to go with that price. The salesman asked me if we have a deal at that price, I said yes. We shook hands (I should have known right there I was shaking hands with the devil. a handshake used to mean something, but apparently not anymore.) So they did the paperwork, and by this time it was really late, I was extremely tired (I have a stress trigered condition that causes my hearing to get worse, so I know when I'm very stressed). I take full responsability for the fact that I just signed the papers right there without looking much at them. I knew I was getting screwed, but I had turned down my wife too many times, and she really wanted this car, so I went along with it. Later when we looked at the paperwork, the price of the car is listed as $11,999. Hello? I know some would say I got off cheap, it's a measly $500. Well, to me it's a matter of honesty, and obviously they don't have it. When that guy shook hands with me agreeing on $11,500, I expect that number to be in that box where the price of the car goes. Yes, there were a ton of fees, and extended warranty which we purchassed for an arm and a leg. In the end the total amount we would be paying (if we don't pay it off early, which we intend to) is around $18,000. I can deal with taxes, fees, and crap they pile on. I know that's part of the business, and I was at a dissadvantage for not paying straight cash, But that little $500 they just HAD to add back into the price after we had agreed on a number, That is the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm a man of my word and try not to intentionally people, and lying is one thing I can't tolerate. It doesn't matter if they lie about $1 or $10000, I will never EVER again trust a person that has lied to me. Right Honda seems like a decent dealership, but they'll never get my business again because I don't trust them. More

I was taken to a large, clean waiting room and was offered coffee and popcorn while I watched tv.The service only took about 30 minutes and they threw in a free car wash. I was pleased with this service and returned for the window tinting, which also went smoothly. More

I visited Right Honda with my wife to test drive an Accord. This was our first day of looking and this is one of a few cars we were thinking about. New Honda Accord - let me show you this 2005 model. No - we're looking for a 2006 EX in Carbon Bronze Metallic. Ok - an LX in Silver? I thought we were being clear but perhaps the noise and commotion at the dealership was distracting him. We test drove the car - it was nice - but we weren't looking to buy that day. But Victor assured us if we just hung around a little longer - he'd get us some numbers to take with us. After 5 minutes of sitting listening to babies crying and people running around, we got up to leave. We ran into him on the way out and he and his sales manager brought us the “numbers”. $723 a month for 60 months with $5100 down (for a $23,000 car). I’m not sure what interest rate he used to get those “numbers” – but it was pretty high. The total payments for what he quoted us were almost $50K. I understand the first offer is usually crazy, but come on now. And…this was after we had told them we already had a pre-approval from our credit union and weren’t interested in financing through them. Another example of how they’re really good at not listening to the customer. Oh yeah – one last little annoyance with Right Honda. Every single one of their vehicles comes with the “Arizona Package” for $1,495 and window tinting/pin striping for $395. In case you’re wondering, the “Arizona Package” is “Teflon” paint protection. These are pure profit for dealerships and have little or no value to customers. We’re still considering the Accord but not from Right Honda. More
