San Tan service has gone from bad to worse. Been using San Tan for my service needs for4 years and have seen a steady decline in this service department. She told me they have to put up with bad service advisors and technicians because "they can't find help, so we have to keep everyone regardless of their work ethic". Service here can not be any worse. My truck is still under the power train warranty and started knocking. They tell me I need a new motor and they can't warranty it because they found My truck is still under the power train warranty and started knocking. They tell me I need a new motor and they can't warranty it because they found a piece of metal in the engine they can't identify. This truck has 55k miles and has been babied. Because they can't identify the foreign object (it's been basically forged in the combustion chamber) I guess they don't want to cover it and expect me to pay for it. James Rubio my service advisor accused me of installing an after market part and causing the damage. I showed him proof the part was installed 9k miles ago and would not have caused that type of metal or damage inside the motor. They can't identify where the metal came from or how it got into the combustion chamber but after contacting the service manager and filing a complaint with the AZ attorney general, they are trying to get Ford warranty to cover it. We shall see what happens but so far I wish I would have went to another dealer.y experience has been horrible, stressful, and quite frankly irritating that won't cover it when they should. More
I previously had a service issue which was escalated to a true gentleman! It took me several months to get the information back to them, and incredibly Mike remembered me and the issue! Refused to walk in oil change. I bought the truck from them and also refused performing the safety recalls I have on my truck! yet another problem...brought car in for service....they did not correctly reattach the skid plate. now it is hanging off the vehicle as my daughter is driving to school. Went in for warranty service and feel all they want to do is up sell you, and give you a attitude I will never buy anything thing from SanTan Ford or have anything serviced there. This is sad to have a large dealership in a great community that does not care about its customers. They tell you that they will get you a loaner and then there rental department calls wanting to rent you a car. Never has that happen to me at other dealerships. More
Bought a Certified Pre Owned Ford Focus less than less than 2 years ago, it only had 1 owner and around 90,000 miles and consistently serviced at this dealership so I figured it would last at least 4 year than 2 years ago, it only had 1 owner and around 90,000 miles and consistently serviced at this dealership so I figured it would last at least 4 years to get my daughter thru high school and some college...so wrong. In the last two months the service dept has recommended more than $3000 worth of repairs that’s almost the worth of the car so at this point we have to let it go. So disappointed not necessarily in the dealer staff but in the actual product. Never buying another focus again, should have gone with a Honda we never have problems with our used Honda’s but the car was cheap, I guess you get what you pay for. More
