I’ve always loved and trusted Honda but my most recent experience with the service department left an awful taste in my mouth. James B. failed to explain what was going on with my car’s undercarriage & le experience with the service department left an awful taste in my mouth. James B. failed to explain what was going on with my car’s undercarriage & let me drive away with an improperly attached skid plate without even so much so as telling me. Only found out when my car started making a god awful screeching sound on the freeway. When I called to figure it out he was immediately apologetic and wanted to fix it to “do right by me” and then immediately called me back to say it will actually cost over $300 because the issue was on the invoice (the same invoice that he didn’t bother going over). Failed to tell me that during the service they only ATTEMPTED to screw my skid plate back on; which is why it immediately came unscrewed while I was driving on the freeway. James B. also was unclear and honestly it felt like he was being deceitful with specific pricing quotes. I was told when I dropped my car off that there would be a diagnostic fee to look at some electrical issues, but that that diagnostic fee would then go towards any repairs (which is the only reason I agreed to that and approved it.) Then on the phone James informed me that the fee actually wouldn’t go towards any repairs and that money was simply gone? Then in person upon pick up he then told me again if I choose to come back for repairs that that fee would actually go towards repairs. The back and forth on that answer was confusing and didn’t fill me with trust in anything he was saying. Extremely disappointed in Showcase Honda, I’ve never had an experience this bad before. More
They did an oil change on July 31 caused my oil leak because they did it wrong when they sprayed it and fix the oil leak they sprayed a sensor and I have to replace that sensor for almost $400 and they’ because they did it wrong when they sprayed it and fix the oil leak they sprayed a sensor and I have to replace that sensor for almost $400 and they’re refusing to take responsibility for it when they’re the ones that messed my car up don’t trust them And when I was sitting in the waiting room while they did the oil change I had somebody that worked there approached me wanting me to sign a new service contract with them. My car is only three years old and I didn’t have an issue with my car until you guys did an oil change . More
Preplanned a trip to get recall work involving safety issue on the airbag and was told I could get it fixed. I specifically let them know that I was coming from a rural town, and it was a long drive for issue on the airbag and was told I could get it fixed. I specifically let them know that I was coming from a rural town, and it was a long drive for me - almost 4 hours. After I showed up, the service gal said they used the part on someone else's vehicle (a while back), and that I would have to return the next day. If they had knowledge of this prior to my appointment, this message could have easily been communicated and rescheduled prior to my arrival. Additionally, I was made to pay $180 for the diagnosis so I called the service manager Sean Hoops and and asked if they would kindly refund some or all of the diagnosis fee for not holding your end of the bargain up and for my gas and time on the road. He said "no and we don't refunds on diagnosis fees". Also, they found on the diagnosis a few repairs like the rear passenger window motor and door locks, and a few other small repairs and said it would be in the $4,700 (which could also be safety issues - such as door lock and window accessibility), where this cost of service any other place was almost half this price. I would definitely check out one of the other local dealerships before doing business with Showcase Honda. Safety should always be of top priority, which does not reflect the priority of this place. She LISTENED to me as I told her my problem. She proceeded to contact the right people in the service department. Quickly, I was told to take my car to the service department. She followed me. There a young man came to the car, checked everything, fixed what needed to be fixed. Neither of them tried to convince me to buy this/ that, get service that I didn't need. They fixed my problem. I wish all the agents could be so professional! More

My daughter and I bought a used Toyota from Showcase Honda. There were some issues that needed repair and Showcase Honda agreed to get three of them fixed / repaired (WE OWE YOU). My daughter scheduled the repair work to be completed with DEVIN SUZUKI and received a confirmation email six (6) days prior to the service. On the confirmation email, it listed the work to be performed was "Headlight Out, Rear Tint". There was also to be chip repair completed as a part of the "WE OWE YOU". We arrived on 08/04/2022 at approximately 8:10 am. We made contact with the service advisor and told him our scheduled service advisor was "DEVIN SUZUKI". Devin came out and contacted us. We provided him our names and he confirmed our appointment. He asked what services we needed. I explained to DEVIN the services needed and Showcase Honda were going to be completing them as a part of "WE OWN YOU" from our recent purchase. As DEVIN and I continued talking, he explained how he came into work this morning around 6:48 am and that was the first time he saw what was to be done with our vehicle. DEVIN was told about how my daughter had been in contact with him at least two times prior to coming into Showcase Honda today (one to schedule the service appointment and one time to get her original service appointment time since someone (unknown who) had changed her appointment time to two hours later). DEVIN stated he would need to order the head lamp from Toyota and could not order it until after noon. DEVIN did not know if the head lamp would be available and, if it was, when it could be installed since it would have to be delivered. Secondly, DEVIN advised the chip repair would have to be scheduled with the MPP warranty company and not with the chip repair guy that Showcase Honda. We told DEVIN we were told the chip repair guy would be called and have respond to Showcase Honda to repair the chip in our windshield. DEVIN was obviously getting frustrated and told us he could not just call up the chip repair guy and force him to respond to Showcase Honda. Lastly, DEVIN stated due to the weather (cloudy, possible rain, humid) they could not remove and install new window tint on the rear hatchback window on our vehicle. I was getting frustrated with DEVIN and asked why my daughter and I drove 50 minutes for repair work and he did not plan ahead to order a new head lamp and scheduled the chip repair. I also asked why he would not call ahead to let us know they could not replace the window tint because of the weather. DEVIN had the nerve to tell me he had been a service advisor for 20 years. This told me DEVIN should know how to do his job better and have items ordered for his clients repair services scheduled. I hope DEVIN does not have to order oil / filter for his clients that are scheduled for oil / filter changes. But I have read a review of someone saying they had to wait for three hours for an oil change. Thankfully, the head lamp was replaced, the chip repaired and the rear window tint removed / replaced. My daughter returned for our vehicle with her boyfriend. My daughter later told me DEVIN asked why I (her father) did not come back because he wanted to tell me he can get things done. UNPROFESSIONAL in my opinion. Our sales person, AIDEN, was exceptional during the sales process and when we had to return for our repair service. AIDEN helped us facilitate getting our repairs completed. More
