My experience with the service dept. and every person I had contact with has been nothing but satisfactory. I love my car, the gas mileage is unbelievable and what else can I say, I'll soon be driving a new VW. It is great to know that in 2.5 years, I have not had any serious car problems (flat tires, small lights replaced) and never spent more than 30 minutes waiting for my car. That's service. More

Very good service, personnel but premises need an update Smithtown VW was able to book a service appointment promptly for my expiring NYS inspection sticker, plus a a few minor items, while my local dealer i Smithtown VW was able to book a service appointment promptly for my expiring NYS inspection sticker, plus a a few minor items, while my local dealer in Riverhead was quoting 3 weeks for an appointment. My first impression of the service department was that the place looked run down, but the service manager, Anthony Piccolo, made up for it. I think the dealership would benefit from investing in improving the appearance of the service area office, the service area itself, and the customer waiting room. On a side note, the service manager was _incredibly_ polite with a customer who was making pretty unreasonable demands. He deserves a medal for his patience. More
