I purchased a new 2011 Chevy Equinox on 2/9/2011 from Buzz Nielsen at Sunset Chevrolet. It was a great experience. I drove 2 1/2 hours to get to the dealership. I did a lot of research on the internet lo Buzz Nielsen at Sunset Chevrolet. It was a great experience. I drove 2 1/2 hours to get to the dealership. I did a lot of research on the internet looking for an Equinox with everything I wanted on it. Most dealerships were overpriced and did not want to give a fair price for my trade in. Sunset Chevrolet charged me a low price for the Equinox and gave me a fairly good price for my trade. Financing got me a super low interest rate. The whole process went smoothly. This is a dealership I would recommend. I also purchased several accessories for my Equinox from Robert Spadaccini in the parts dept. He provided me with some discounted prices and I was able to have the parts installed that day from the service department. That was important since I had a 2 1/2 hour drive home that night. I only had one issue. During the purchase of the Equinox, I requested and the dealership agreed to swap my Equinox's 18" wheels (I hate those wheels) for another Equinox's factory 17" wheels (way better). Who ever was supposed to reprogram the vehicles computer with the new wheels and TPMS sensors either did not do it or didn't complete the process. Approx. 10 miles from the dealership that night, my TPMS dash light came on and the monitor system read as dash marks. Long story short, my local Chevy dealership spent over 1 hour fixing the problem. However, they charged me $96.02 with tax. I made contact with Buzz Nielsen at Sunset Chevrolet and told him politely what happened. He told the Sunset Service Manager. The service manager called me up and apologized for what happened and they reimbursed me the cost to fix this issue. Most dealerships would not have done that! I had a great experience at Sunset Chevrolet and would highly recommend them to anyone. I figure that I saved between $3,000 and $5,000 on the price of my Equinox by not purchasing from the Chevy dealerships in my county or the neighboring county. More
Their Dealership goes above and beyond Great Customer Service. Not only are they respectful to customers but also with each other. I recently went in to look at a new car and was met with a very knowledgeable Sales Consultant. He was upfront with all facts and figures. I feel good about my purchase. Earlier in the day I stopped at a Kia Dealership just to compare. There were three sales people sitting at desks. One was texting someone, one was on their cell phone and one was polishing her nails. After five minutes one of the upstairs office managers came out of his office and downstairs. He asked if I needed help. I said I wanted to see about new car. He called over to the salesman and said I needed help. He continued to text so the manager said it again. He finally put his phone down and came over. I was there for 5 minutes and left. I went to Sunset Chevrolet where they take me seriously. Also several years ago I brought in a recall issue to be fixed. When they were drilling on the bracket holding the radiator, the drill slipped and a the radiator was damaged. Before I was even aware that there was a problem they had called for a rental car for my use while they replaced my radiator that had to be ordered. More

Came to this dealership based off of my brother's recommedation, he had bought a cobalt here from James Goeke. So of course we went looking for him. Unfortunetly, he had gone home sick that day so Andy helped us out in the lot. Drove 3 different models. Starting out with what we originally wanted. Then our numbers were ran (filling out the financing information beforehand on their website sped this process up and ensures you have access to all your information without having to carry everything with you). Next drove a car far from the first, very basic. Didn't meet our needs so we told them no thank you. They went to work again and found us a car that met all of our needs vehicle wise and financially. Colby was also very kind and helpful at this point in our car shopping. Paperwork went smooth and picked up a freshly fueled and washed car. Andy showed me all the features one by one before driving off the lot. Overall, a good experience. More

The second purchase experience was just as good. In my search, I went to Sunset, then to a few other dealers. I came back to Sunset mainly because of the way they treated me. The other dealers could have sold me a truck, but they assumed I was an easy mark because I'm female. On the contrary, I am very knowledgable about vehicles. I knew what they were up to. Buzz Nielsen and James Daniels at Sunset worked with me to get me the pricing I needed so I could get into the truck I wanted. They gave me a good value for my trade in, and were very upfront and honest about the deal. They made me feel like my business is valued and treated me with respect. Both Buzz and James possess character and provide excellent customer service. I did have a couple of follow-up issues that were taken care of courteously and quickly. Most dealers won't give after-the-fact customer servive on a used vehicle with no warranty. But Sunset did. They are great to work with. More
We took our camaro in for its second oil change,They took the car back and did the work.parked the car back out front and never told me it was done.They knew I was waiting.Anyhow,when I got home I noticed th the car back and did the work.parked the car back out front and never told me it was done.They knew I was waiting.Anyhow,when I got home I noticed the car had several scratches in the hood and the top of the front bumper.I loved the car and it did not have a mark on it.Now I feel like its just a used car. Dont know what I could do about it but I am so unhappy, I am wondering if I should ever bring the car back for an oil change.Kinda sucks because we have the life time oil change.Thanks for bursting our bubble with our new car. Dave was very helpfull to us after we described what we where looking for, we looked at a 2010 HHR LS that was perfect for what we needed and the asking price was very good. Jim helped us with the test drive and negotiating the price which was reasonable, plus they gave us $3000 more for our trade in than it was worth! to help us shed some of the negative equity. Dave sat in the suburban with us and went over all the features so that we were comfortable. Dave and Jim and all the staff were very friendly and helpfull and made car buying easy and enjoyable, I would recommend them to friends and family. And we are going back to them to buy a second car soon. More

This was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. My husband and I originally came in just to see what they had, Dave took the time to give us an idea on monthly payments on the car we were thi had. While we were signing the paperwork they were cleaning the car up so we were in and out in 2 hours (when does that EVER happen??). Dave even put a bow on the car and took my daughters photo (it was for her)by the car. He spent more than enough time working with my daughter to show her how everything in the car works including getting OnStar set up. I would seriously think of buying a car here again in the future.
