In the last five years I've purchased three new and two used cars from big name dealers. Every experience was awful. Each experience made me dread every time I had to go to a dealer. All the salesman I used cars from big name dealers. Every experience was awful. Each experience made me dread every time I had to go to a dealer. All the salesman I had to work with were the typical sleazy, fast talking salesman you associate with the profession. None of them wanted to work with me on price and acted like I was an idiot when it came to talking numbers. They also used a lot of pressure to push the sale. I understand that the salesman, the sales manager and the dealer need to make money, but all the experiences I had seemed over the top. In summer 2011 while purchasing a new Ford Fiesta at Currie Motors in Frankfort, IL, my wife had to leave the dealer because she was so uncomfortable with the sales tactics that were used by the manager and our salesman. Both were overly aggressive and just plain rude. I will never purchase a car from them again. Now in December 2011 I bought a used 1999 Ram from Taylor Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Bourbonnais IL. My experience was phenomenal. Brian Burghorn was my salesman and I cannot speak highly enough for him. My wife and I both felt extremely comfortable with him and he seemed like an honest, genuine, trustworthy man. While talking and negotiating with him it felt like we were discussing with a friend. Our entire experience with every person at the dealer was very pleasant and helpful even though we were only purchasing an inexpensive used truck. Taylor gave me the most trade in value out of all the dealers I was shopping around at and I also feel the price on my new purchase was very fair and according to www.kbb.com it was. I researched around the area and found this to be the best dealership for both friendly staff and price negotiation. More than that he listened carefully to what I needed out of a car, showed me lots of options, and went out of his way to make sure if there wasn't something on the lot that fit my needs he would search for one somewhere else that did. When it came to the sale, he wasn't pushy and didn't make me feel like I was rushed into making the purchase. On our first visit to Taylor Chrystler Dodge we were greeted imediatley by Kevin Emling. We explained that we were looking for a used Jeep Wrangler - He showed us many options that were on the lot but greeted imediatley by Kevin Emling. Without being the least bit pushy, Kevin suggested that we drive one of the newer Wranglers - with that test drive and with Kevins knowledge and friendliness, we were sold. We bought the new Wrangler and have been very happy with it. When we return for any follow up service, Ryan Voight,the service manager has been nothing but helpful and accomodating to all of our needs.
