Hi Kristin: I looked into your concerns and found the following; Your deposit was received on January 25, 2017. Regarding the $1000.00 “promise”. This is a rebate, not a discount through Toyota Motor Sales. On the first order you placed, the vehicle was cancelled at your request. You did reorder and that Prius Prime arrived Monday Aril 18th. We called and reminded you of the 72 hours for pick up. You did come in on Thursday the 20th to see the vehicle and drive it. Looks like you didn’t take delivery and we offered until 10am on Friday the 21st for pick up. After 10am the vehicle was sold to another customer. We did receive a phone call from you that Friday morning around 10:30am and that is when we informed you that the vehicle had been sold. We understand that the card you used to put the $500 deposit on, you no longer have. Therefore, we submitted a check request for your refund. Please contact me directly within the next 24 hours to let me know if you would like the check sent to your home or if you would like to pick it up at the dealership. I am sorry to hear that we weren’t able to come to terms on this deal and I wish you luck in your journey to purchase a new vehicle.
