I bought my first Mazda (over the Internet w/ Jim Feinstein) in April 2012, and purchased my second Mazda from him last week. Jim is by far the most honest, friendly, and easiest person to work with; you'll want to do business with him. What I appreciate most: + He's straightforward. Tells you how it is. No fluff or bull; straight to the point. + He wants to see you in a Mazda, and will do everything possible to land you in your dream car. For my first Mazda, I knew (almost exactly, besides color) what I wanted; he worked hard to give me the best possible deal. For my second Mazda, my original dream car (3 i Grand Touring) wasn't in my budget, but we worked together to get in me the Mazda that would make me happy (now the proud owner of a luscious 3 i Touring.) It turns out: the Touring was a better fit for me anyway. I get cold easily, so I don't need leather seats (the cloth isn't like typical, nasty fluffy cloth... it's sleek. And not "cloth" persay.) I hate wind in my face, so I don't need a sunroof. And the auto dimming mirror and auto lights were nice, but not necessities. I am proud to say that after sitting in and test driving my 3 i Touring... I was able to drive it home off the lot that night! + The dealership appreciates your business. There's a friendly, happy, cheery vibe all around... the people who work there come across like a family. It's evident they like what they do, and value your business. Outside of the purchase process, the dealership is still great. I've gotten our first Mazda serviced there several times and 1) they take appointments (fairly early) 2) they'll ring you so you don't need to hang around the dealership 3) they do a thorough inspection of your car. If you're in the market for a Mazda -- or even if you're not -- I highly recommend you check these folks out. It's worth noting that when I was buying the second car, I was also considering either a Corolla or Civic, but between the car and the phenomenal experience, I knew Tustin Mazda was the way to go. I've never had FUN buying a car before, but this was a truly enjoyable experience. He never tried to push me into options I didn't want. Instead, Sammy listened, figured out the best vehicle for me, and MADE IT HAPPEN! If you're looking for a new Mazda, contact Sammy. He's AWESOME!!!!! More

I'm re-building my credit, and will be back when it's where it needs to be. Shaun knows his stuff, and had a "No BS" type attitude- he's not going to over-promise and under deliver. He wants to make sure you're getting the best deal possible and that all your expectations have not only been met, but been exceeded. OC Mazda doesn't want to sell you a car you like, they want to sell you a car you LOVE. All of John Patterson's dealerships are a real class act. If you're looking for a Mazda or Hyundai, or just a great car buying experience, you come here. You get treated better than if you were buying a 7 series at a BMW dealership. I've sent others to buy cars from Shaun since my visit a month ago, I can't wait to actually get to join the club officially myself! More

This review is for the Internet Sales Department at OC Tustin Mazda: I was in the market for a new 2014 Mazda 3. The new Mazda 3 had been getting rave reviews and I narrowed my selection to the Mazda 3 Tustin Mazda: I was in the market for a new 2014 Mazda 3. The new Mazda 3 had been getting rave reviews and I narrowed my selection to the Mazda 3s Grand Touring hatchback because it met my needs for storage capacity and fuel economy. I had done extensive research on the car; although most owners loved their new Mazda 3's, an alarming amount complained about the horrible buying experience they endured during the process. I e-mailed multiple dealerships in the greater Los Angeles and Orange Counties requesting quotes for the Mazda 3 I was looking for. John Patterson OC Mazda of Tustin was one of the dealerships and actually had the car I wanted on their lot. I received a prompt e-mail response from Jim Feinstein, OC Mazda's Internet Sales Department. Jim's e-mail was personal and not a cookie cutter e-mail response. Jim was able give me the lowest price for the Mazda 3, beating competing dealerships by over $1000. When Jim was not available, Veronica Paco would assume responsibility, answering any questions I had. Initially I was skeptical of the offer, however, I felt pretty confident since I had the quote in writing, the dealership would honor the price. I scheduled an appointment and walked into the dealership expecting the worst. At the dealership, I felt welcome and was immediately greeted by everyone. As one Yelper stated, every staffer was pleasant and professional, constantly offering food or drink to make me feel at ease. Veronica Paco guided me through the buying processes and I finished, keys in hand, in just over an hour. I had secured a great rate at my credit union prior to the sale and Tony in the dealership's finance department was able to beat their rate by a half percent. (1.4%) Veronica gave me a tour of the dealership and I was able to meet with the owner of the dealership, John Patterson. Overall a great, quick and painless buying experience at OC Mazda of Tustin. I felt Jim Feinstein and Veronica Paco really went out of their way to take care of me and highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new Mazda. I'm a proud owner of a new Mazda 3 and will definitely be back for a 2015 CX-5. More
Wow! Best dealership to ever work with, seriously. We just bought a brand new 2013 Mazda CX-9 Touring and couldn't be happier. We had test drove many similar cars before deciding this was the best car. W just bought a brand new 2013 Mazda CX-9 Touring and couldn't be happier. We had test drove many similar cars before deciding this was the best car. We dealt with many dealerships in trying to get the one that we wanted for a good price. We're not local,we live in San Diego, and we drove all the way up here just to get our car because Jimmy Feinstein got us an amazing deal. He stuck with us and really searched and did everything possible to get us what we wanted. He's truly a pleasure to work with. When we arrived to the dealership everyone was so friendly and it just felt like family. He knew our big want was a navigation system and he had it installed and ready to go by the time we got there. John Patterson helped out a lot too! Even our finance guy Tony was great and easy peasy to work with. Honestly, I talked to many dealerships and am thankful I found Tustin Mazda. They really took care of us. If you're looking for a Mazda, no need to look further, I promise they'll get you the very best deal and you'll have a great experience! More
Sammy was an excellent sales person. He made sure that he understood what our needs were for a new car, and he matched those needs perfectly with a lease for a new Mazda 6. This sale came about because a very fortunate confluence of events. First, we wanted to buy a sporty, roomy, zippy and reliable car to replace our 2009 gas-guzzling BMW 335i in gorgeous condition with only of events. First, we wanted to buy a sporty, roomy, zippy and reliable car to replace our 2009 gas-guzzling BMW 335i in gorgeous condition with only 34K miles on it. (We've just moved from Chicago and have never had to drive as much as we do around here!). Second, we did our research on Consumer Reports, Edmunds, Cars.com, and Yelp, and pretty much knew what we wanted: based on a couple of internet quotes and CR pricing, we wanted a 2014 s-Touring Mazda 3 for somewhere around $25.5K. Third, we really didn't want to play the whole "haggle" game. To our way of thinking, we *want* the dealer to make money, as long as we don't get played or ripped off in the process. Car buying shouldn't be as difficult as some dealers make it. Initially, due to a mix-up, we went to Tuttle-Click Mazda in Irvine, where we test-drove a couple of cars and then decided to talk price with our (new and ignorant salesperson). We basically told her that we wanted her to give us her highest price for the (BMW) trade-in, her lowest price for the car, and the best finance deal possible. That's what everyone wants, right? Knowing that we had several guaranteed internet prices, she took our BMW keys (to have the car evaluated for trade-in), and came back 10 minutes later with the following offer: $26.1K (MSRP w/o destination charge) for the Mazda, $17K for the BMW (worth, at minimum $22K as a trade-in), and 5.8% APR for 60 months for the financing. Seriously? Our credit scores are over 800. Subsequently, she played the box-and-haggle game (with the sales manager acting as the "bad cop") a number of times, including the following: "What do you want your monthly payment to be?" "What do you want to get for your trade-in?" "What do you want the price of the Mazda to be?" "Do you know that we had a BMW just like yours in here a month ago, and all we could get for it was $17K?" And so on. And despite being asked on three different occasions, she refused to give our keys back to us. Finally, we told her, "We've explained to you what we want. We want our keys back now and we want your best numbers. You have five minutes to get them to us." She came back with our keys and some BS numbers, and we thanked her for her time and started to walk out. Of course, she and her sales manager followed us out to our apparently crappy BMW ("My appraiser is never off by that much; you just won't get more than that for the BMW," the sales manager said.), insisting we could make a deal of some sort. Yeah, I don't think so. Subsequently, we went a quarter-mile down the road to Carmax, where we were offered $22K for our BMW. Sold! The next day, I wrote an email to Tustin Mazda's internet division, explaining what we wanted and how we wanted it (i.e., fair price and no BS haggling stuff). I asked if this could be accomplished there. Jim Feinstein, the internet division head, assured us that it could be done. So, despite our anxiety, we took the trip there. Everything went smoothly and as promised: No hard sells, no bait-and-switches, no jerking around. It was a pleasure dealing with Jim from start to finish. He was patient, fair, and honorable (a word I typically wouldn't use to describe a car salesman). I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him or with Tustin Mazda again. We are now the owners of a soul red 2014 s-Touring Mazda 3, and we couldn't be happier! Zoom zoom! Thanks, Jim and Tustin Mazda! More
I recently purchased a CX-5 Touring from Sammy and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Sammy was very kind, thoughtful and helpful throughout the process. I got a great price on the car. I also g couldn't be happier with the experience! Sammy was very kind, thoughtful and helpful throughout the process. I got a great price on the car. I also got the exact interior and exterior color I wanted (beautiful navy blue) which Sammy had imported into their dealership in less than 24 hours as they didn't have one in stock. The whole process was a refreshingly honest and smooth experience for me! More
