I bought a 2023 2021 Volvo XC90 from this dealership, I had a great salesman and the car turned out great. I have had several service visits to this dealership in 1.5 years, and I have generally liked it h had a great salesman and the car turned out great. I have had several service visits to this dealership in 1.5 years, and I have generally liked it here. Today I decided to trade-in my Volvo for a new Volvo XC90. When I arrived at the dealership I was met by the salesman Chris Gough, he offered me a ride in the new Volvo XC90, we took a ride, I liked the car in general, but there was one thing that for me in the car is not acceptable to me the Start/Stop system, which I immediately told Chris. He said it could be fixed by installing a software upgrade from Polestar. When I asked how much it would cost, he said it didn't matter, he would fix it (his first lie). We went back to the dealership and started negotiating terms from the beginning he offered to buy the Polestar software for $1700 and also offered me an unnecessary warranty, I told him he promised to work it out and he removed the unnecessary warranty and the Polestar software and then my discount was reduced by $500. He explained that the discount was reduced because we would be able to do the credit at 3.99% (the seller's second lie). I was surprised since the promo interest is 4.99%, but he is a professional, he proudly said he had taken training at Volvo in March. I was approved for a loan, which was at 4.99% I was happy with it and decided not to revive. Everything was signed, license plates and registration were ready, my car was picked up and then it turns out that they CANNOT INSTALL POLESTAR. Because it's not out yet, nobody knows when it will be out. The test drive was around 12PM, we broke the deal at 4:30PM. Service man completely negligently screwed the rear license plates just to the paint on my car, no license plate frame. I lost a whole day to find out that Chris is either unprofessional and doesn't know anything about Volvo or a liar. I also wonder what they were trying to sell me for $1700 if they don't have this software. I want nothing more to do with Chris, this dealership or Volvo. More

Today, I drove through heavy rain and fog to get to my appointment. I explained to Bob I had an appointment and the services I had requested (replace rear brake linings, A/C filter, and interior detailing appointment. He started asking me questions and stated there was not enough time for all of them - I was annoyed, but I said to drop the interior detailing. He still said there was not enough time as they close at 3pm. This made me upset. I started asking why I was scheduled for an appointment if there was not enough time for the services I asked...his response was that there were lots of new people coming in and out and they were using an AI system for scheduling or the person correctly scheduled my appointment as each diagnosis takes about an hour...which was very weird after he told me that detailing alone takes a half-day. Basically any reason other than someone made a mistake (I made my appointment by speaking with person.) I was very frustrated as I drove through very poor conditions only to be told nothing could be done. In fact, when discussing my service concerns, he kept saying what he thought the cause was...(e.g. A/C issue was due to a leak or cooling system needed to be recharged.) In all of my prior visits, I was always told by the service consultant they could not say what the problem was until Service Tech examined the car. I have always appreciated Lisle Volvo and have my car service there when there are several Volvo dealerships closer to me. I could have accepted if I was told someone made a mistake and apology for driving through poor conditions. Instead, my takeaway is this can happen again. Who is to know with all these new people and this AI system. If Volvo Lisle Management reads this...let your employees know how they treat customers matter. More
