ALSO I am a Former ASE Certified Mechanic - Not employed as one for the past 6 years so I know the business.
Called up to get a price on a part the Parts Department guy says We won't give you that price unless you give us the Vin Number on your car. So I call another dealer THEY GIVE ME THE PRICE and they tell me that is a stupid policy.
The parts guy actually got in an argument with me for longer then it would take to look the price up... GEES The policy was not because they didn't want to waste time on people shopping for parts the policy AS HE STATED is because they wont guarantee the part fits my car...
He even said if i came to the parts window in person he would give me the price.
Thats BS they want to track my car in their system.
I think I know what type of car i have driven for the past 10 years and I am giving the guy the exact part I want... LOOK IT UP AND MAKE THE SALE...
So I am either going to order online or Drive to that other dealer.
My previous problem was with a Timing Belt I wanted replaced.. They wouldn't even give me a ballpark estimate unless I WAITED 2 WEEKS FOR AN APPOINTMENT and they took a look at it. I couldn't even talk to the service manager or a Mechanic to ask a simple question.
ITS A FRICKEN TIMING BELT IF YOU TAKE IT APART TO LOOK AT IT YOU MIGHT AS WELL DO THE JOB.... AND WAIT 2 WEEKS FOR A BALLPARK ESTIMATE?
Dealers have BOOK RATE they know exactly how long a job will take and its cost before the job is started. They use that info to tell you the Estimate Price and to pay the Mechanic if the shop pays by the Piece and not by the Hour.
That has been Dealer Policy for Decades.
Since they rebuilt the place things have really changed. Everyone just seems Ticked Off at that place.
They are only good for a VERY LAST RESORT be careful
I went out of my way to write this review ... PLEASE take note and if you think they are jerking you around run don't walk away... BAD DEAL

They introduce themselves and hand you a card. They are not on commission and still go out of their way to help you in any way that they can.
This dealership has what they call the "no hassle" buying policy. They have stickers in the windows of all the cars, and I mean ALL of the cars, new and used. This is the price you pay. No more, no less. No haggling. No games. No players.
They take you for a walk through of the dealership, introducing you to the different people in the depatments, such as parts, sales, service etc. They make you feel so comfortable.
The salesman was very informative and worked with me. He did not try to sell me something that I could not afford. He suggested different things to me, but the final decision was mine and mine alone.
They appraised my trade and let me see exactly where they got their figure. They did not hide anything. I did not have to wait on people to come back from back rooms to see if they could get me a better deal. Everything is upfront and in the open.
I highly recommend that you drive the extra miles to give this dealer a try. In this day and age, this was one pleasant surprise.
