I purchased my second Mazda from Wilkins Mazda today, and once again, it was a great experience. I’ve been a loyal Mazda customer for nine years, and this visit reinforced why I keep coming back. Bob was fantastic to work with, charismatic, relatable, and witty, but most importantly, no-nonsense and not pushy at all. He really knows his cars, was insightful throughout the process, and worked with us to stay within our budget while still getting us a great deal. The transaction was impressively fast! I walked in at 9:30 AM and was out the door by 11:30 AM, which I truly appreciated. Frank, the general manager, was also great to work with. He was very responsive via email, transparent, and straightforward, which made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. Overall, this was another excellent experience with Wilkins Mazda. Professional, efficient, and honest, highly recommend this dealership amongst the other in Illinois.

This place is run completely different. From front desk to sales to finance- all three of these guys were all around were just fantastic. The salesman Issac did not try to upsell me out of my budget at ALL made the day pretty fun! I am absolutely in love with the Mazda CX-5 I bought, and the price I paid.

We have purchased a LOT of Mazdas over the years, and have dealt with both excellent and (frankly) pathetic attitudes towards customers from the various Mazda dealers we've worked with. This operation is TOP NOTCH. Keri is an excellent sales consultant, and that excellent customer services goes all the way up the ladder to their upper management (hello again Jimmy!). I recently purchased new CX-5 Mazda . You brace yourself going into a car dealer. Prepare mentally for the oncoming " pushy salesman". And then....they don't come. Instead, you get friendly people who don't try to "push"anything on you. They're helpful. They're listen. They're accommodating. This was our experience with Oscar Rodriguez. Oscar was very forthcoming and patient. He provided 5 star service at every step. I highly recommend this dealership.

Unbelievably, I'm going to report a great outcome after a disaster of a start. I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2019 CX-5 DIESEL from Jon Ballas on 02/12/2024. 36 hours later, the check engine light came on. What followed was a nearly 3 month journey that took 3-4 trips through the service department, all the while never truly figuring out what the issue was (something to do w/ the emissions system). All the while, the two service front desk employees Tory and Cory were great, always providing a loaner (I live 90 minutes away). I lived in loaners more than I did my own vehicle. After what all thought was the final repair, less than 40 minutes after I picked the diesel Mazda up (mind you, this is the only diesel Auffenberg Mazda had encountered before), the check engine light was on once again. I called Jon and said I was done. I needed out of the diesel. After several days, Jon had me in a brand new Mazda, no diesel, and I am extremely pleased. The way the service representatives handled the situation throughout the 2.5 month ordeal, how they handled my frustrations, and their own as they were trying everything they could to figure out the car's issues, was nothing short of amazing. This situation was awful; however, because they worked hard w/ me and among themselves to make everything right, I have nothing but appreciation and gratitude for Jon, Tory, and Cory.

My experience with Libertyville Mazda following the purchase of a new vehicle in December 2024 has been profoundly negative and indicative of serious operational shortcomings. Firstly, the Business Manager, Gabriel, failed to provide me with a complete set of contractual documents at the time of purchase. Secondly, I was pressured by Gabriel to purchase additional coverage. I promptly requested the cancellation within one week and received assurances that the necessary paperwork would be processed. However, after three months, I contacted Mazda Finance and the insurance provider and they confirmed that Libertyville Mazda never submitted the cancellation request. This failure to fulfill a basic administrative obligation is deeply troubling. The lack of accountability and the dealership's continued silence regarding the reason for this oversight are unacceptable. To date, no explanation has been offered. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend Libertyville Mazda as a reputable dealership. I strongly advise prospective buyers to exercise extreme caution, particularly regarding any additional coverage offered by the finance department.

This was a very smooth and pleasant experience. While other dealerships are charging ridiculous premiums for new cars, they were very fair and didn't push profit boosters like paint and fabric protection! I would buy from Lisa and Mike again anyday!
