When he encountered hesitation in getting the repair covered by the warranty, he persisted on my behalf. His efforts saved me close to $2,000. For me this was an emergency, because I was taking a trip and did not want to run the highway on the spare. It was late in the work day, but Pedro Mata, understood my circumstance and allowed me to bring my car in for tire repair / replacement. I was really surprised at how "out-of-the-way" accommodating Pedro was. I am deeply grateful for that kind if service to a Kia owner who bought from a competitor. If this is truly what you standby than why is it I have been trying to call for the past 2 weeks and I can't seem to get anyone to assist me with my Kia Fuel Rebate Economy Reimbursement? The service department completed the paperwork back on 04/04/2024 and the "Warranty Administrator" (Karen) has yet to finish the paperwork and submit to Kia Fuel Economy Reimbursement. I have been calling for the past 2 weeks and all I get is bounced around to different extensions simply because who ever answers the call are not trained to answer a call or know who to escalate it to. Today some brave person finally answered the call however had absolutely no knowledge of the "Kia Fuel Economy Reimbursement Program" so once again I hung up hopeless and without an answer as to why the paperwork has for the Kia Fuel Reimbursement Program has not been submitted. Not to mention last year when there was a steering wheel recall. I called the service department to schedule an appointment to have it fixed at not cost to me as the paperwork stated and was told the recall expired, after a lengthy conversation trying to explain that a recall does not expire I finally decided it was not worth my time and energy. So for my safety as well as my family I paid 600.00 to have it fixed. I can go on and on but its only going to fall on deaf ears. Customer service should be the #1 priority that is what will set you apart from everyone else and its unfortunate its not. I truly believe this to will be ignored. I was raised to treat people the way you want to be treated and to always be humble but that's not how today's society is these days. P.S I rated you a 1 because I could not rate you a Zero. Recently my son and I each purchased our vehicles from your dealership. About 14 days after my son purchased his (first) car, it started to have significant issues while we were running errands on a Saturday. We immediately called and drove straight to your location. Honestly, I was angry and felt awful for my son, that saved and put down $ 12K of his own money. That day, we worked with Ishmael in the service department, Larry Sweiss (Used Car Sales Manager) and Nick Garcia our Salesman. Had to leave the car for a few days to be inspected. The next few days waiting for an answer was rough. But then, you guys came through!! Spoke with Larry Sweiss, and it turned out that the fuel pump had failed and there was a recall on the air conditioner condenser. He took care of everything. The customer service that I received, from beginning to end was a true “Home Run”. It was a collective victory thanks to Ishmael, Nick, and Larry. “Real customer service” isn’t just placating the customer in the moment and then dropping the ball before the finish line…It is “following through until the end”….You guys did that, and I cannot express how much that meant to my family and I. We have purchased two beautiful vehicles from Nick Garcia, and I am sure they won’t be the last. Will be sure to refer friends and family to Nick at Kia International Orland. On the Service team, AKEEM, was awesome! He listened to my concerns, gave me timely updates and arranged a rental for me paid by KIA while my car is being fixed. I just had 2023 Telluride serviced at Auffenberg Kia, sold me $300 injector cleaning, 22,500 miles. They have serviced each 7,500 miles. I said, I have never done this with any other vehicle. Brad , the service writer said Kia recommends this injector cleaner and oil sludge cleaning every 15,000 miles. I asked why? New GDI engine design. The Kia owners manual does not show or recommend at all. Congratulations, Auffenberg made $300, but lost a customer forever. Craig Eversmann 15 Jan 2024
