I must commend Mr. Mitch, service manager. I was sorry to see that he was promoted to service manager but the administration at Legacy couldn’t have found a better man for the job. It has always been a pleasure dealing with Mr. Mitch when he was a service writer and now that he’s the service manager I feel more comfortable than ever having Legacy service my vehicles. With him as manager I’m absolutely confident my service will be done right and ready as promised. When I do come to the dealership I make a point to tell him hello and he always greets my by my first name with a smile and handshake. It’s great to be part of the Legacy family. My first experience of Banner was in the summer of 2010 when I traded in a “Cash-for-clunker” work truck and a 2007 Chevy impala SS for a 2009 Silverado crew cab XFE to consolidate to one vehicle (on the last day for cash-for-clunker). The XFE model was the only model that qualified me and Banner was one of few that had one on the lot. Their sales team was fair and a deal was made. I never used their service department or body shop until I had a wreck in January of 2012. The truck was towed their and after a brief conversation with the body shop I inquired about an oil leak that I was intending to bring the truck to be looked at under warranty. Banner’s body shop communicated with the service department and the leak was identified and fixed while the insurance adjuster and body shop prepared for repairs. It has been only 7 days and during that time frame New Orleans hosted a Sugar Bowl, Saint’s Wild Card Game, and the BCS Championship Game. I cannot stress enough how impressed I am with Banner’s performance.

So it was Saturday at 1:30 and we discovered we had a mechanical issue on our F-350 that was a cause for concern. We were leaving on a long trip the next day which was a Sunday. We called the service department and spoke with David. They were closing in 30 minutes! David said to drive the truck in and he would take a look at it. He was super kind, accommodating, and concerned. We brought the truck in and David fixed the problem in a matter of minutes! Thanks David! We are VERY appreciative!
