When I went into southern Maine I didn't know what I was expecting to leave with, but the salesman Louis was great with every step, he really cared about getting me in the car I wanted for the right price, there were moments where I wasn't sure If I was going to end up with what I wanted but all the employees pulled it off! I will be using this dealership forever!

We spoke with Mike multiple times to find the best deal on a new jeep. We made an appointment to test drive and lease a vehicle. He made sure we were shown vehicles that we wanted, and allowed me to test drive the ones I was interested in. The financing was easy and painless. Before I left they made sure my new car was spotless and even gave me a tutorial on how to run the radio, windshield wipers etc. such an amazing experience, highly recommended.

We own a well maintained luxury sedan. Love it - the look , the feel, the drive - always safe for my wife and daughter. Recently, our family lifestyle has changed and a pickup truck would suit our needs much better. My wife and I have always liked the looks and style of a Honda Ridgeline. We've had friends who found them very comfortable and reliable. We searched online and found a few Ridgelines that met the options we were looking for such as leather, navigation and a tow package. Unfortunately, we were consistently disappointed in offers for our trade, far below what I considered to be a fair. Charlie's had a used Ridgeline available. Initially, we were hesitant because it had more miles on it than we wanted; however, I did find it to be very well maintained. I did my research regarding my trade and the purchase. What sealed this deal was a conversation with Rick where he stated "I'm a man of my word". We received a very fair trade for our vehicle and we purchased our Honda Ridgeline at a good price. I consider myself not to be an easy customer and I appreciate Rick and his team working with me. Rick should know that his statement has meant something more to me. I do not enjoy the car buying experience - never have - but this particular time it was different. Please have Rick and his team contact me in the early fall of this year, I'll be interested in a purchase of a used Prius with Leather and Moonroof. Thank you.

To those who are thinking of purchasing a vehicle this year Just a little heads up on dealerships I really thought the days of the customer coming first went out the window until I went to Lee Doge in Westbrook,I had the best experience this last week I was nervous about a high payment as I have had no vehicle payment for at least ten years I loved my truck and didn't really want to give it up but it was time When I arrived at Lee Dodge I was introduced by Andre ,my sales agent .He made the process very smooth He brought out several vehicles I wanted to try until I found the right one He was very professional and worked hard at getting me the vehicle I wanted along with a low monthly payment and taking advantage of all The rebates . I decided to lease my vehicle I signed all my finance papers left a 5336 deposit with Tim in financing, who did all the paperwork , getting the figures down to where I wanted the payment to be Andre helped me unload my things from my truck into my new vehicle and Off I went .The next morning After a sleepless night going back and forth in my head about purchasing or leasing my vehicle , (mind you I had signed the paper work and already took my vehicle ) I called Andre and Tim to explain I had made a mistake and changed my mind about Leasing I now wanted to purchase my vehicle I had emailed and called Andre and Tim ridiculous amounts of times during the day requesting information about my lease First canceling my warranty then purchasing it again I was getting crazier by the hour Despite all my letters and calls to both Tim and Andre They remained professional at all times .and they always got right back to me Tim stated the paper work had not been sent in yet to the bank and if I wanted to change things to a purchase It would not be a problem He would just have to redo the paper work Tim said he and Andre would get together and work it all out keeping in mind what I wanted Andre stressed that He wanted me to be happy with my vehicle and my choice of financing They both were so nice despite the fact my craziness had them coming and going !! Buy the time I left that morning I had switched my new vehicle to a purchase,I had a payment a little less then I expected I got a discount on my maintenance Warranty and loads of great rebates! My payment was at a price I could handle . I Thanked them both for making the changes and being so nice about everything I had read on line the night before that once you leave the dealership with the papers signed and your vehicle the dealership is under no obligation to make any changes to the contract Your pretty much stuck with your decision for the next few months until the lease ends ,you sell, or refinance Then you will pay some fees. I visited several dealers in the area and was disappointed (almost angry with some) at the attitude and ridiculous pricing (10% ABOVE suggested pricing in Kelly Blue Book). Finally a friend referred me to MacDonald Motors. The web site was easy to use, I quickly identified the new Jeep Cherokee I wanted. I submitted a few quick email questions which were quickly and professionally answered by email.
The following day I drove in and met Bill MacDonald and Tim Morton. Tim was upfront with the best price I had seen, showed me the "new" options (hadn't bought a new car in many years). Paperwork was efficient, doc fees were significantly less than other dealers, and in an hour I drove out with my new car. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE FOLKS FOR PURCHASING A VEHICLE. Local folks with great attitudes....unlike the "chain" dealers!

Sold me a lemon and worse customer service from Mike & Jim - Octavia
Mike StPierre convinced me that the Jeep Compass was the best of Jeep with lower mpg that I was looking for. I have owned several Jeep models, Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Wrangler and Rubicon.
I just wanted a Jeep with low miles and low MPG.
I took it out for a drive, seemed it would be just getting used to a smaller vehicle.
The day after taking delivery of the brand new Compass I put about 65 miles on it.
It was making a "shudder" going at different speeds, I also found that this model was very low quality in its interior, poor handling, 9 speed is a joke, I felt like I was driving an old Vega! Remember those?? I brought the Compass back to Mike ( I won't even call it a Jeep) to let him know my displeasure and disappointment with this vehicle and the fact that it had a random"shudder" happening.
Long story short, the service dept had the Compass the first 30 of 90 days that I owned it as the problem was getting much worse, the put nearly 50" miles on my new car before the found that it had a faulty abs sensor! And a couple of other problems having to do with the breaking.
In the mean time I told Mike and The owner Jim that I did not want to keep this vehicle and I was told by Mike that he had a Jeep Cherokee with the things I'd want and it only had 95,000 miles on it!! He obviously does not know or really care about his customers.
This started the first of August and is not settled yet, the attorney generals office is working with me but all Bodwell will do is offer an extended warranty on this piece of junk! To this day, I have had to make all contact with Mike and Jim Bodwell- never once did either of them reach out to me, not once from the day I dropped a check for this car!! But, early on, Jim would ask my coworker how I was doing??
I always put up positive reviews for great service etc. if I'm not satisfied, I just don't go back and being a former multi business owner I took reviews very seriously.
This vehicle is an entry level Jeep, very poor crash tests results and the poorest quality of material and workmanship I have ever encountered.
I also have had several conversations with Chrysler and they were not impressed with the level of customer service from the owner or the sales rep of this dealership that I have received.

I have purchased two trucks from this dealership and I'm about to purchase another, the people are great, they thrive on customer service unlike other dealerships (Darlings). Mr. Lovejoy has been nothing less then great on finding and getting what I wanted in a truck. Their service department is wonderful to deal with and again unlike (Darlings in Augusta). If you have to travel to Farmington from Augusta it's worth the drive to this dealership and what they don't have they can sure try and find it for you.

Very good customer service. Being one of the 1st few to purchase a Chrysler product from this dealership, things went pretty smoothly as the staff is still learning the new system. Very accommodating. Highly recommended for anyone is the market for a new or used vehicle.
