We've bought all our new cars (at least 7) at Quirk in Bangor. I went to upgrade my 2013 Jeep Wrangler to a 2016 model with standard and Quirk was TERRIBLE! The salesman told me that he couldn't keep jeeps on the lot and that as far as standards "I've looked and there's none in the state". He did evaluate my trade but he never called to tell me what he thought it was worth or to follow up with me. He seemed utterly uninterested in selling me a car! That same day I went on google and found at least 20 standard wrangler unlimited Jeeps in Maine (sure, he must have looked really hard). I went to Darlings in Ellsworth to see their selection. The salesman, Ihan, was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and professional. He found me the perfect car and told me that if they didn't have what I wanted they could get it for me in 24 hours (that's the way to do business). They evaluated my trades, gave me a fair price and made the whole experience wonderful. I will be doing all my business with Darlings from now on.

This company has surpassed our expectations for 10 years - giving us top dollar for trades, complimentary loaner vehicle during service visits, staying open late when we just couldn't get there any earlier, and always seeing the owner in the store working with his team! Today is July 18, 2016. I went down to New Castle Jeep in New Castle, Maine on Friday the 15th and had an extremely pleasant buying experience. Everyone at the dealership was extremely friendly, including the owner of the dealership who came out to shake my hand. At no point did I feel that I was being sold anything I wasn't interested in. There was pretty much no haggling involved at all in fact. They offered me a very fair price on the Jeep I wanted, a very fair price on the car I was trading in, and they did it all quickly and with a big smile every step of the way. While I was in the dealership, I also had a chance to talk to a couple that were long-time customers of Jeep, and they had nothing but excellent things to say about their experiences with the dealership, so this bolstered my confidence right out of the gate. Additionally, because I came in later in the day on a Friday afternoon, the service department didn't have time to detail the new Jeep before I left. I guess that wasn't the level of service they like to provide, so this morning (Monday), they sent someone out to pick up my Jeep from my work and bring it back to the dealership for a good and proper detailing. I live about 20 miles away from the dealership, so this was a very pleasant surprise. They left me a loaner and they will bring the Jeep back to me when it's done. So far, I am very impressed with this entire experience, and the Jeep is exactly what I wanted it to be as well. I feel like I'm part of the Jeep family already, and I would happily recommend New Castle Jeep to anyone that is in the market.

I had been shopping for a diesel Grand Cherokee over the course of many weeks. Mike Marsh was able to help me find exactly the vehicle I was looking and make the purchasing process easy, even though I live almost 4 hours from the dealership. Mike was great to work with and was always happy to answer my never ending list of questions. Mike and the team at Lee didn't hesitate to stay late on the evening I came to pickup my new car. Every 4 years or so I dread the perceived hassle of car shopping. Much to my surprise, my experience with Charlie's Nissan was actually quite pleasant. I initially dealt with Andrew on the internet side and he responded back to my e-mail very promptly. My dealings with Bubba and the rest of the staff were very positive and professional as well, with (most notably) no typical salesman pressure! The Bodwell staff, and especially Leo Gibbons, made buying my new Wrangler low stress and low pressure. They made me feel worth their time and used that time to be extremely helpful. Mr. Gibbons ended up working late to ensure I knew all the ins and outs of my new Jeep. They even filled the fuel tank and gave the Jeep a fresh wash before I left. Bodwells will be my first stop next time I am looking for a vehicle.

I have purchased two trucks from this dealership and I'm about to purchase another, the people are great, they thrive on customer service unlike other dealerships (Darlings). Mr. Lovejoy has been nothing less then great on finding and getting what I wanted in a truck. Their service department is wonderful to deal with and again unlike (Darlings in Augusta). If you have to travel to Farmington from Augusta it's worth the drive to this dealership and what they don't have they can sure try and find it for you.
