Buyer beware. I looked at over 20 vehicles — Toyota Highlanders and Kia Tellurides — listed by Plaza Auto Mall this week. Every single one came in roughly $6,000 higher than advertised once you factored in the actual fees. This wasn't an occasional discrepancy — it was consistent across the board. And it's not just the fees — the base prices themselves are inflated for what these cars actually are. You can find the same vehicles elsewhere for significantly less before any negotiation even starts. Just because a price appears on TrueCar or their website doesn't mean that's what you'll pay. The real number only comes out later in the process, and by then they're already asking when you can come in. Also worth noting: don't expect a response over the weekend. Replies seem to come on Mondays — conveniently after the weekend sales rush is over. New York State should do more to hold licensed dealerships accountable for advertised pricing. Until then, always get a full out-the-door price in writing before you visit.

After my first car broke down for the 50th time, I was desperate to get myself something new. I always thought kias were cute cars so i visited this dealership to see my options. I’m 22 years old with a receptionist job and didnt expect to have enough money to get something right away. Kelly and Yasser were the two people who worked closely with me to discuss what I’m looking for and what my options are especially having no credit. Within a week I get my dream car at a affordable price! Not only that but they are even helping me build my credit! Getting all the paperwork done takes some time but with the friendly staff I didn’t mind hanging out. Everyone had an amazing energy, funny and sweet yet always professional. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience leasing my first car and am forever grateful for Kelly and Yasser for making it happen at a price that’s personally affordable for me.

I had spent nearly two months waiting for updates from another dealership and often found myself having to initiate the follow-up conversations. Looking back, I can still remember the first time I brought my 2005 dodge neon in for service and how respectful and friendly Jamie Major was, as well as, how quick he was to get my car looked at and figure out what the problem was. After a couple times of bringing the automobile in for service I started to realize the only ones I trusted touching my car for repairs was the place I got it. I found that no matter how many times I brought my automobile in if there was any problem small or big they were always respectful and friendly and were always willing to fix the problem. Overall I can say that of all the places I know of that offer auto repair services I have never heard of any as friendly and respectful as Durocher's Service Center.

As a retired U.S. Army veteran who served actively for 22 years and worked a total of 30 years for the government, all I know is the importance of integrity. I've now been in the automotive industry for years! I was born and raised in Central NY, and I visit family every summer in Syracuse/Rochester. When my sister reached out to me with her desire for a new vehicle, Mr. Matt Miller is who I spoke with. Yes, he followed up after my initial inquiry, and everything was fabulous to the point of sending a document showing an interest rate of 6.14% with the specific monthly payment. When my sister went into the dealership, a better rate of 5.89% was offered, which is great! Considering the term, the savings were only around $3.00 a month, but over the said term, we're close to $300! When I asked Mr. Miller to compensate for the difference with a set of floor mats at his cost, he would not correct his mistake, which absolutely baffles me when more than $30,000 was just spent and financed through their dealership! The dealership wins, but where's the customer service, the client relation, or Mr. Miller's integrity by simply doing the right thing??? The math is easy if you know anything about the business. I know a lot of people in the area, and I WILL NOT send anyone there for business as long as the GM, Mr. Matt Miller, is in charge!!! I'm highly upset and wish that I sent my sister to another location that understands customer relationship management!

I took my car there because it wouldn’t start and my dash lights would flash, I told them when it did it the battery would click like it was dead, they said it was the backup camera that they’d have to order and I’d get a call in 1-2 weeks when the part came in. 3 weeks passed with no phone call so my husband called and the guy was like oh yup we have it. I drive out there to arrive and find out they had moved locations and not said anything. I get to the new location and bring up again, can we just make sure it’s not the battery. I was assured they would. They replaced the backup camera. This morning we go for an oil change and it does it again so the garage we’re at ACTUALLY tests the battery and the voltage is coming back as about half as much as it should. My husband just called fx to tell them about it and his response was “well I’ll have to call Kia to see if this will be covered under warranty” total xx as we brought the car in before the warranty was up. They DID NOT LISTEN TO ME, THEY LIED TO ME, wasted my time on something they knew wasn’t the issue, I believe because they’d get more money from Kia if it was the backup camera rather than the battery. Bottom line is they’re sketchy 10/10 would NOT RECOMMEND Update: guy never called back after saying he would do my husband called him and basically was like yeah we fixed the wrong but it’s your problem now

In January,I needed my Kia Serento seen for a problem in Utica, Ny. the local Kia did not have an opening til 2/25, over a month away. I called Burdick Kia and was able to get a service appointment within 3 day. I was dropping the car off early because a planned vacation. There was no problem with that for them. They also were able to get to the car problem earlier than planned. The service manager, Ms Harris, has been so helpful in getting me in for service. I would highly recommend Burdick Kia and the service department .Thank you again for helping me out.

Run, don’t walk- in the opposite direction. Spent a couple days contacting every dealer in the tristate looking for my new vehicle. This John Starks dealer had the one I was looking for and wanted to make the deal. I told him some offers I had heard at the local places by me and the sales guy Colin had to speak to his manager. He texted me that he got the deal done. To make the price where I was comfortable, the interest needed to be 6%. I put a deposit down and filled out the credit application. They ran my credit, confirmed it was excellent then ghosted me for a day. After reaching back out to them they told me the lowest rate is 8%. This significantly increases the monthly payment. The sales guy Colin and his GM knew this at the time but said what they could to keep me happy and keep me from going to another dealer. The GM just called me to say there was no way 6% was ever going to happen. They hit my credit for no reason at all. It takes 2 years to fall off your report. This dealer is the exact reason why all car salesmen have the reputation they do. I’m sure the manager or someone will reply to this review and make up some story about how I am at fault, but I urge you to look elsewhere.
