A very disappointing experience. After a week of the sales dance (back and forth) we arrived for a scheduled appointment to purchase an auto. The sales rep presented a sales recap, which included the price of the auto, sales tax, title fee, plate fee, registration fee, and a "doc fee" of $1,000 - all expected. What was not expected was a $1,000 fee for "paint protection" on a 21-year old car with 62k miles. What was not appreciated was the dealership's complete disregard for our time. As senior citizens, we felt disrespected and victimized.

I had an above exceptional experience with Fields Cadillac. My sales person is Kevin Johnston. He is very knowledgeable, very polite, and very helpful. He took his time making sure we were informed and happy. They have a nice Cafe that you can eat breakfast and lunch at no charge. And it's quality food. The finance lady was terrific as well. She is very pleasant and she knew her job. This is the first time I have had a stress free experience when buying a car. And I love my XT5. It is the perfect SUV for me. I usually do not leave reviews, but this one is warranted. This is the only place I will buy my future cars and kevin Johnston is the only sales person I will buy from.

Ricardo is one of the most genuine, caring and professional individuals my family and I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I contacted Bomnin Cadillac in Homestead after seeing a car listed online for $91,000. When they called me to follow up on my inquiry, they told me the car had a specific option I was looking for — which turned out to be a lie just to get me in the door. Still, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and showed up ready to buy. I spent over two hours at the dealership, giving them every chance to honor the price they advertised despite the lie about the option and despite trying to change the price from 91k to 105k!! After all that time, they came back with, “The best we can do is $97,000” — a $6,000 increase from the online price, with no reasonable explanation other than vague fees and made-up costs. So disrespectful and dishonest. It was a classic bait-and-switch and a complete waste of my time. They showed no respect for me as a serious buyer, and I will not be doing business with them. I drove 45 min there and waster hours. If you value honesty and don’t want to be misled, avoid this dealership. I walked out and won’t be back and I’ll be warning others to do the same.

Horrible experience. Why GM lets Sunset have all three Cadillac dealerships in one market is beyond defensible. Guyer family has lost ALL of our business at ALL of their dealerships and we've bought a dozen vehicles from them over the years. We wanted a new AWD XT5. They didn't have any so we found some online. They said AWD were so hard to get no dealer would give them up. So we gave them a deposit to order us one. We were told it would take 12-14 weeks. They pressed really hard for us to buy a 2WD off their lot but they finally agreed to order it. 12 weeks later I contacted the salesman and he said the car had not come in yet. (Shouldn't he have reached out to me at some point). Called 2 weeks later. No car. No reason. I had to call the Cadillac factory where they are built to find out what was going on. I got the number from friend of friend. Turns out, our order was in the "cue" but they had no idea when it would be built. We asked for our deposit back (which was like pulling teeth) and drove 1 1/2 hours away to buy one from another dealer. When I told their sales manager what we had gone through he said they would have given up the AWD if another dealer had contacted them. AWD XT5's can't really tow anything and we don't get snow here. He said occasionally someone comes along and wants one but they usually sit for a while. Finally got out deposit back after SEVERAL phone calls. Now our 1 year old XT5 has a transmission issue. It won't go forward but it will go backwards. OnStar had it towed to Sunset because it was the closest dealership. This was on Friday evening. Contacted the dealership first thing Saturday morning and was told they didn't have any loaner cars. We drove to the dealership later that day 15 minutes before they closed. We counted 8 loaner cars. When we went into the service area there were NO customers there. After introducing myself the first thing the service advisor said was they had pulled our car into the service area that morning but they weren't going to be able to fix it. xx. I "marked" the wheels (yes I'm that way) when we left it there the night before and it hadn't moved. The (lack of) service advisor then quickly changed his LIE. Then I inquired as to a loaner car for my wife (it's her car). He said they didn't have any and reminded me that he told me that on the phone. I mentioned that we had walked around back before we came in and saw 8 of them. He changed his LIE again and said the person that handles loaners wasn't working that day. I asked if he could call someone and he got abrupt with me and said he wouldn't bother them on their day off. I pointed out that Sunset has THREE Cadillac dealerships in this area and surely someone was available at one of the other two. He refused to check. He said he would check on Monday and see if any loaners were available. I then asked him if he could at least give them a quick call on their cell phone to get authorization. He became agitated. I then asked how long he had worked there and he said 23 years. I told him he sucked at his job and he was better suited for either the janitorial or food service industries and we left. My wife called Sunset Monday morning inquiring about a loaner car and was told that since we didn't purchase the car there they wouldn't give us a loaner car. Even though we purchased our previous Cadillac from them AND had it serviced there the entire time we owned it AND even though we TRIED to buy our XT5 there and gave them a down payment AND waited over 3 months for the car AND had to wait another month to get our down payment back they would NOT give us a loaner car. Cadillac must be so PROUD to have Sunset represent them in the fastest growing market in Florida. I now have an incredible story to tell people about Sunset Cadillac (and the people that we dealt with and lied to us). And I will tell them because I know LOTS of people. Good luck because you're going to need it.

I bought a 1500 Chevy truck for our business and it lasted about one week it's been in there shop for going on 2 weeks now they gave me a rental car to drive which is useless to me I use my truck everyday for our business now I'm having to rent a truck which is costing me over 200 dollars a day I don't want that truck anymore they should step up to the plate and offer me another truck that has no problems I will be contacting my lawyer Monday to try to resolve this issue.

I have a 2014 Cadillac SRX and My HMI module. went bad due a water leaking from the sunroof. I fixed the leak and I got a used HMI from Ebay (The same part number) That it was belong to a Cadillac Escalade with different Vin Number. The part need to be reprogrammed (Change the pin number) and they told me that they can do it and it will cost me 230.00. I left the car at the dealer and they called me after about 4 hours to tell me that They can't do it because they don't have the right software to do it but I still have to pay the 230.00. I had to pay for nothing. I ended sending the unit to this place (White Automotive & Media Services) and they fix it for $99.00.

We recently bought our Yukon here and were very impressed with our salesman Austyn. He made sure all our questions were anwered and took time to listen. Our finance person, Josh, was not anyone we'd want to deal with again. He didn't go over numbers with us, rushed us through the signing process and took off as fast as he could. We had to teturn for drive out detailing and service we requested prior to purchase, and the service dept did take care of us efficiently. Have never had a detailing not include washing floor mats though. As long as good people like Austyn are there, we'll return for future purchases, but will leave quickly if we ever have to deal with a fast talker who pushed you out the door like the finance guy though.

Why buy a car from a dealership with ambiguous addon options and charges exceeding $3,000 on every car that in reality, has little or no value? Also, every Sunset Cadillac Dealership has a similar added option and cost. They outdo themselves at Sunset BUICK GMC dealer in Sarasota where the array of low value services is expanded and the addon cost exceeds $4,000. Carroll Buick of Venice offers comparable quality vehicles without these excess costs. In response to a previous rating, they claimed "They strive for transparency" Transparency is not a word that comes to mind. In a discussion with them about this addon, they indicated their customers are glad to buy it. I asked most of your customers are glad to pay $2,000 for the addon option for services that at best are worth a few hundred dollars. His response: They don't scrutinize it the way I did. Interesting, in his eyes lack of scrutiny equates to open acceptance and satisfaction.

Shopping for a car has never been so easy and pleasant. Car buying is something I wouldn't look any more forward to than getting a root canal. The salesperson (Fernando) was polite, informative and very knowledgeable. For the first time ever, I actually look forward to doing this again, but hopefully not for a long time because I LOVE my new XT4! As they say in their commercials, Don't drive miles, go to Niles.

I was charged $70 for aftermarket belt that cost $12 outside, 400% markup + $90 to install the belt. The tech left his greasy finger prints on my headliner. I wrote to the dealer and they said they will look into it and that they will detail my car and get rid of the grease on my head liner but they never did, I sent two emails to Joedy Tidwell the service director asking when can I take my car in and got no answer.
