I had a 9am apt when I arrive they tell me that they have the apt for 10am to check start/stop light on on my dash also check the auto park as it takes multiple times shifting before the vehicle will go into gear. At 10:40am the vehicle still sits where I parked it. I go back into the dealership to see if it’s completed they tell me they haven’t looked at it yet. At 11:32am they call me to tell me it’s all set that it’s just the pins on the door plug connector were bent and now straightened and fixed. I go inside dealership to pay and pick up the vehicle and he now tells me that BOTH BATTERIES ARE BAD AND NEED REPLACING for a total of $1,155.28. This vehicle was just purchased from this same dealership January 25 2025 !! This dealership also charges 175 per hour labor rate. Left without purchasing any batteries at all but paid the $189 with tax rate only. Batteries were tested PRIOR TO GOING THERE TWO DAYS EARLIER BY GARAGE BOTH TESTED GOOD. !!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE WORK !! Better yet don’t even purchase a vehicle from here !! The exact same two batteries from Friendly in Geneva are almost $125 less even though neither battery needed replacing !! They also showed on their print out of paper work that the vehicle has an extended warranty until 01/25/29 with 100 deductible which I have a copy of. !!! Also the service tech at the parts counter needs an attitude adjustment and has NO BUSINESS interacting with the general public . Maybe he should just be hidden in the back to work on vehicles with an attitude like that! Matt Armison has no business interacting with the general public with an attitude like that. Infact he should probably be terminated for trying to commit fraud claiming batteries need replacing that clearly test good !! Just trying to scam customers.

Two weeks ago I purchased a used 2025 Honda from Bob Johnson CDJR in Watertown. Our experience was without event until we got home and realized that one of the two key fobs was missing the "hard key" (the piece that you'd use to start the car if the fob battery died). Our salesman (Sean K) assured me it wouldn't be a problem. The finance manager (Brian P) told me he'd gotten approval for a replacement. And then both stopped answering my inquiries. Seriously guys...if you can't fix a key, what will I be able to count on you for?

Louie was phenomenal to work with in buying my new 2024 RAM 2500. I have never had a more pleasant no non-sense experience at any dealership anywhere and I have been to tons of them. This last time I visited more than 15 dealerships and called at least 25. I inquired at more than 40 online and when I finally called Wally’s and Louie answered he proved dealerships still do an honest business and want to sell vehicles. I made my 1 and only offer on the truck based on what I could spend. Louie presented the offer to management and they accepted it. I got an incredible deal and treated with nothing but respect throughout the entire process. Louie even went out of his way to make sure my every request was handled. Made the 6 hour drive from my home there 100% worth it. Even their service guys went out of their way to help me out as I had to tow my other vehicle home on an auto transport behind my new truck and I needed to have my ball flipped over so I could lower it to get a better tow for the 6 hour trip back home. I will be pleased to take my business to Wally’s CDJR when I need my next truck. They were fantastic.

I went to the Lowery Bros. Jeep dealership to check out a new 2018 Wrangler. I was looking for a specific vehicle that was listed on their website as being in stock, but couldn't find it anywhere on their lot. I tried to find a salesperson to help, but had no luck. Even after waiting in the showroom, checking out vehicles, nobody offered to help. I finally got frustrated and left. I have tried to contact them several times through their "contact us" link on the website and have received no response. This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. Luckily there are other Jeep dealerships in the area that are more than happy to receive my business.

I recently purchased a new 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Gerry made the buying process very easy and outright enjoyable. Gerry is very knowledgeable of the products he sells and he operates his dealership in a professional and courteous manner with no pressure tactics. I was also very pleased with the price he was able to offer me for my trade-in and for the discounts I was able to negotiate on my new Jeep.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT EVEN PULL INTO THEIR YARD Since purchasing a vehicle on April 30th, 2024 This certified pre owned Jeep compass has been nothing but a nightmare. Completly understand cars with mechanical components develop flaws. However, the people that work here are severely disrespectful , unwilling to reason, and incredibly shady. The vehicle was purchased with 46,226 miles. The engine blew at 46,252 miles. Additionally the car was first traded in to the dealership with 43,821 miles. Meaning, they drove it for 3,000 miles and DEFINITELY were aware of the warped heads. And sold it anyway. They did not even seem surprised when we called back 2 days later to say the engine blew and immediately tried to deflect. We then argued for days to ensure they honored the corporate jeep powertrain warranty. They then tried to put a used engine into the vehicle being discussed, vs a new crate engine from mopar. Paul then patted himself on the back for providing a “free” Rental. 6 days later the engine was swapped. I drove it for 10 minutes and had to bring it back due to faulty installation. The timing belt and tensioner weren’t installed correctly and it wouldn’t be for another few months until I discovered more installation issues from this incompetent service team. They did not install AC lines correctly. So 9,000 miles later the ac lines rubbed through the manifolds , effectively ruining them. Anyone that knows anything cars knows that is a direct result of the engine swap. This place of business should dispense advil at the door for the migraines they cause their customers. What is even worse than everything aforementioned above, is the attitude and arrogance of Paul and James. Mainly Paul. I wish I had recorded some of nasty comments he made towards us. Zero accountability and just disgusting. There are countless reviews online highlighting extremely similar situations. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT EVEN LOOK HERE. They may refute and delete this comment like they have many others. But please do your own due diligence online and you will see a clear pattern. Paul claims he is too busy to bother himself with his customers. So it is unfathomable how a place like this is even still in business. They are incredibly privileged to exist in an area with little competition. But trust me, the drive to neighboring dealerships will be well WORTH the trip. And the cherry on the sundae, most recently we had the issue with the AC, asked them to look at under warranty. Also briefly mentioned that there was a rattle that they claimed to be the spare tire. Charged $70 to tighten a spare tire. Pulling out of dealership the rattle was still there. I got home, PULLED out the spare tire , noise still there. Honestly after everything before, I really should not have even gone back, that is on me. It is simply the closest dealership. I hope this review saves someone from dealing with this experience. Unfortunately, I asked a coworker to drive me to go get my car back, and I was explaining what happened, and I can’t even make this up, she bought a Durango from Norwich Dodge 4 years ago and THE SAME THING happened to her. Except her car got a used engine and experienced many more years of agony. I have notified Jeep Corporate with documentation and am consulting with a lemon law/civil attorney. It is simply the principle of the matter. Paul is the stereotypical slimy used car salesman and puts on a facade. 4 out of 5 people I talk to feel the same. Yet his delusional mindset makes him think he is gods gift to Norwich.

My car has been in their shop for months. There is zero communication. I have been told over twenty times that I will get my call returned, but it’s never the same day most of the time not even the same week. I have been given every excuse under the sun about the warranty, Chrysler, waiting on parts, employees being out sick….. you name it. I have NEVER got a straight answer. I had collision repairs done at this location previously in Oct which took weeks but at least they were accommodating and kept me in the loop. Not one have the employees at Jeep tried to help me get a loaner or a rental. I have three kids and work two jobs. I had to quit one of my jobs because I had no way to get there. I still do not have a date that I can expect my 2021 Jeep to be ready. I will never return to this location.
