My wife and I were looking for a Nissan Pathfinder Platinum with captain’s chairs. I found two listed online at Monroe Nissan—one with captain’s chairs and one without—so we decided to stop by in person.
We arrived around 6:15 PM and walked into the showroom. There were several vehicles on the floor, but no Pathfinders. After standing in the showroom for 5–10 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone, we went outside to try to locate the Pathfinders ourselves. We spent another 15 minutes outside with no assistance, and we still could not access or see the vehicles we came to look at.
We eventually walked back to our car and left. This was, without question, the worst dealership experience I have ever had. While I can’t say for certain, there appeared to be a salesperson at the desk on his phone the entire time we were there, despite customers walking around unassisted.
We came ready to look seriously at a Pathfinder Platinum, but the complete lack of customer service ensured we took our business elsewhere. We will be continuing our search with a dealership that values customers and is willing to help.
