Persistence without the high-pressure sales tactics. That would perfectly describe my salesman Scotty and how he was able to help me negotiate one of the best deals I have ever gotten on a vehicle. And I've bought (too 😆) many vehicles over the years. I thought there was ZERO chance of getting what I needed for my trade-in towards the new Ford Maverick I was wanting in order to make a deal possible. And initially, I was right. Scotty's sales manager stepped up and made me a very fair offer for my car, but the numbers still weren't working for my budget. I was about to leave when the sales manager asked me to give him a little more time to see what he could do for me. He came back out and absolutey BLEW MY MIND 🤯 with a bigger offer for my trade which made getting the Maverick possible! Even Scotty looked shocked! 😅 Now I have no idea how he was able to do so, and I'm not promising he can do it for you as well. But if you are buried in negative equity on your car but wanting or needing something else, then go give Scotty and his manager(s) a chance to work something out for you.

Overall the car was as represented and service from the dealer team was excellent. We especially appreciated the assistance we received from Brandon and James. We were frustrated that the ad list price was different than what was represented on the final invoice. While we appreciate the services performed on the vehicle, we were irritated by the built in upselling from the dealership. we also understand that a low up front price will get people in the door, but would have preferred a more realistic price up front. Brandon did work with us and ultimately got to a price in line with our budget.

I have had my car serviced by Village Volkswagen in Chattanooga on many occasions. Overall my experience there has been exceptional. Until now and a previous occassion with this same service advisor. My 2024 Atlas was experiencing an issue that require my car to be kept most of the day according to the service advisor (Dakota) in order to diagnose the problem. I dropped my car off the next morning. He took my keys and ask had I gotten a loaner car. I said no, you told me you would not know if the car would be finished today or have to remain until it was diagnose during the appointment. Dakota then informed me that the appointment only gets your car checked in, not that it would be looked at that day. I have had other appointments here and the car previously had been seen when scheduled. I wanted to speak to the Service Manager (Brandon) but he had not made it in. I left the vehicle and called back to speak with the Service Manager because I was disappointed in what I was told and couldn't believe this was happening. Brittany answered the phone, I asked to speak with Brandon and she wanted to know what I wanted to talk to him about so she could tell him prior to him talking to me. She then replied is this Mrs.W., and I said yes. Several minutes went by. After he was brief on the reason I was calling he answered. I recapped my conversation with Dakota. He now, asked had I reached out to get a loaner? I again replied why would I do that if I don't know if the car is going to be completed today or not. I then said, when I request a loaner they to want to know approximately how long do I think I will need the loaner. I heard other voices in the background. I could tell this was not going to go well. And suddenly he said you can tell them you will need it until next week. Without looking at my car this determination was made. It felt like retaliation had reared up. I complained and the powers at be were going to make me wait, even if the issue was simple and could have been completed today. I voiced my opinion and dissatisfaction in how an appointment became, not really an appointment. So the vehicle would now sit at the dealership for days as a power move. This could have been avoided had the service advisor taken a moment to explain what would go on when I made the appointment. You may think, just get a loaner. Well I drive a full size SUV, and have to take a child to college this weekend and need every bit of trunk capacity that my vehicle has with the back seats down. So a loaner, which in the past have been compact vehicles would not be feasible. I said I was coming to get my vehicle and I may have to take it to Atlanta to have it done. I and my husband went to the dealership to pick the car up. He went to the Service department and I went to the front desk and ask for the owner's number because I was beyond disappointed in the interactions. I knew the Bowers family owned the dealership. A gentleman that introduced himself as the GM (Shannon) said I could talk to him. I was reluctant at first because when people work closely together sometimes they become friends and they will not take corrective action when issues arise with customers and employees. After speaking with the GM for several moments he told me that he was in the room and heard the conversation. He explained the process and what slows down the process. I felt at ease and understood. At first he didn't understand the issue with leaving the car and getting a loaner. And then when I told him about getting a kid to school he understood, why I need the vehicle back. My husband walked up and stated that Dakota said we could not bring our vehicle back here for service. Shannon said, we could. What made Dakota think he could make that decision. PRIVILEGE, ENTITLEMENT, all because he was mad I complained. What reaction did he think those words were going to get. The only reaction; UNPROFESSIONAL,

Part 2: 6-7 months go by with no issues on my vehicle at all, I take my vehicle to tire discounters for an oil change and they told me that the WATER PUMP is leaking and needs to be replaced. They asked if I had a warranty on it and I said I should have one with Paul Thigpen and they recommended I take it to them because there's a warranty for it. I called this past Saturday and they told me the warranty is through Jenkins and that they will try and see if jenkins will cover some of the labor. They said I can bring in my Jeep on Wednesday. I dropped it off Tuesday afternoon so they can work on it first thing Wednesday morning. They said it should be ready Wednesday afternoon. When I asked what the price is going to be, they quoted me $421+ tax because the warranty only covers the part, not the labor. Which is weird because that wasn't close to what I was charged last time.. shady. They ended up getting the water pump from O'Reilly's which is right next door and not Jenkins? Shady as well. Through the text service they provide I messaged them and asked them at 4pm(due to them not keeping me updated on my vehicle) and asked when the jeep will be on ready, they said "if all goes well, it should be ready tomorrow" . I ended up getting the jeep back on Thursday. Not even 100 miles driving down the road, my check engine light turns on. I went to advance auto, they ran diagnostics and told me that it's an 02 sensor. Now I am going to have to pay around $100 for the part and I WILL NOT be taking it to Paul thigpen. They have lost my business, my dad's business who also purchased a vehicle with them and has had nothing but issues since the day he bought it, And my sister will not be going here after her warranty runs out because she also purchased her vehicle here last year. I encourage everyone thinking about taking their vehicles here to reconsider and go somewhere else unless you want be scammed and end up frustrated. I got played. NEVER AGAIN.

I was hesitant to shop here because of the reviews, and past experience, but after learning they had sold out and changed owners i gave them a chance. Let me tell you I am so glad I did! I worked with Mr. White, and I can't say enough about him and my whole experience! The Staff are all amazing, I had my 2 yr old son and mother with me and they were so sweet and kind to us all. No one was worried about making a "deal" they wanted me to get what I wanted, listening to my needs in a vehicle and allowing me time to process every step, offer and option. From the hand shake to the final signature, this was the absolute easiest and best vehicle purchase I have ever had. Not once was I pushed or felt unheard, every piece of paper was explained and they gave me time to process it all and make decisions based on my income and capabilities. After being at another dealer the day before and feeling rushed and pressured to buy that day, and was treated like I was a number and not a customer I feared even trying again. At the other dealer I wanted to leave, felt like I wasn't being heard and was almost sold a vehicle that actually would not have been able to tow what I needed it to tow. After 2 hours there, they ran my credit 11 times through wvery bank in ga, and I had to demand for my trade in keys back to go pick up my son from daycare before they closed, and they were still pushing me to stay and sign my life away to a vehicle that wasn't right for me. At Dalton Kia, and working with Mr. White I can honestly say I never once felt like I wanted to leave, they even fed us pizza, and apologized for the wait, even though I was the one dragging it out wanting to know all the details. The value they gave me for my trade in was definitely fair and the price for the vehicle I purchased was beyond reasonable! I was heard when I said I needed an extended warranty and they asked my concerns, and built me a service agreement and warranty to fit those concerns. They ran my credit and called the banks they knew would fit my score and payment preferences. They got me the best deal and Joshua the finace advisor was so kind and explained it all so well. I honestly can not say enough about this dealership,and the new owners and employees! Thank you Kia Of Dalton and all the Staff!!

Was awesome to hear from and the work performed has been awesome. After the delay on getting the transmission in, he let me know as soon as it was there and it was in immediately. Thank you, Ethan, for changing my opinion of Edd Kirby Service Department. I will not hesitate to return when needed. Ethan deserves a raise.

I have purchased two trucks from this dealership and did not have any problems with the sales department. However, the customer service that I received from the body shop was the worst I have ever experienced in my life. My truck was being repaired from hitting a deer and I waited for over 100 days to get my truck fixed. I was given one excuse after the other for them not being able to fix my truck which was mostly cosmetic damage. I also tried Toyota corporate customer service and didn't do much better with them, all they kept saying was contact your dealer, thanks for the help, Toyota. I can honestly say I will never be back to this dealership for any reason and may be done with Toyota all together.
