I originally left a 5 star review for Genesis of Corona after purchasing my vehicle but I am deleting that review to leave this one. I come from a Mercedes family and recently switched to Genesis believing I would be a customer for life. Unfortunately that will not be the case due to my experience with Mayra Trujillo the Service Manager. Service had been exceptional until recently when I was informed that I could no longer use valet service because my windshield is tinted citing California law. That part is completely understandable. What is not understandable is the lack of consistency in how this rule is applied. When I asked Mayra whether valet service was also being denied to customers with tinted front windows which are also illegal in California I was told that enforcement varies by customer. At the time I purchased the vehicle there was never any mention that valet service could be denied for this reason nor is this disclosed anywhere on their website. I run multiple businesses and valet service was a key feature and one of the main reasons I chose Genesis and left Mercedes. This response and approach give the clear impression of favoritism bias and selective enforcement. Customers should be treated equally not singled out. I have filed a formal complaint with Genesis USA and once my lease is complete I will no longer be returning to Genesis. What could have been a lifelong relationship with the brand has unfortunately ended because of this experience.

Came to Tuttle-Click Genesis to look at the GV70 as I'm in the market for a new car (by the end of the week) sales person didn't want to sell me or anything he just said "u can't test drive it as you need to do a credit check and our customers dont test drive they just know what they want". Really ? I was a serious buyer and explained it to the sales person but apparently he judges by his own cafeterias of who is going to buy something or not

Subject: Disappointing Lease Experience at La Quinta Genesis/Hyundai I am writing to share my extremely negative experience with La Quinta Genesis/Hyundai. I was in the market for a Genesis GV70, drawn in by the national lease advertisement of $599/month for the preferred larger engine and 10K annual mileage. After test driving the vehicle elsewhere, I located four identical models with similar options and MSRP at various dealerships, all quoting lease prices around $620-$630/month with some added features. La Quinta Genesis/Hyundai had the exact same vehicle in my preferred white exterior. I visited on Saturday and spoke with Abel in Sales, leaving my contact information for a lease quote. When I didn't receive a call, I followed up on Sunday and spoke with Jesus, who promised a quote after speaking with his manager. Later that day, Jesus texted me an exorbitant quote of $892/month. When I called to explain the significantly lower quotes I had received from other dealerships for the same vehicle and offered to sign immediately if they matched, Jesus rudely dismissed me, stating, "sounds like you got a great deal, goodbye," and hung up. I was shocked by the salesperson's rudeness and the dealership's unwillingness to even discuss, especially given their dramatically higher price compared to other dealers. Consequently, I purchased my GV70 from another dealership later the same day and have shared my negative experience with La Quinta Genesis/Hyundai with everyone that I know.
