The vehicle was delivered and looked amazing when I picked it up, so clean and shiny with my VIP tag hanging inside. It's the little touches that show the level of detail they go through to make the purchase a pleasant experience. Things like Alex saying "just stop on by any time and we'll top off your wiper fluid, no charge". Great job Alex, thanks so much, I'm just loving my new X4. More

He answered any questions I had and I never felt pressured. He offered a great price for my Jeep Grand Cherokee, which I absolutely love. He was very patient with me, even while I went out to look at different cars. When I came back to purchase it, the process was very simple and everything was done right then and there! Even after paying my very first car payment I have no regrets and am still just as happy with my purchase as the day I made it. Alex also went above and beyond, as we realized only one set of keys had been turned in with the vehicle. He took the time to contact the previous owner to get the second set of keys for me. I was able to pick them up within a week. I am very happy with my total experience and would highly recommend Alex to anyone. More

We weren't sure what we wanted and shopped at more than 10 different dealerships. When we arrived at BMW of Ann Arbor, Alex Upshur greeted us. After about 30 minutes, and before even test driving a car, I realized that we would most likely be buying a car through Alex. As I told him that day, he was the first car salesmen we had met that really knew the products he was selling. Alex was able to answer every technical question we had. He was enthusiastic, obviously a true fan of BMW. But most importantly, Alex was calm, polite, and low pressure - a pleasure to work with. Once we test drove a car...well, that was it - we were hooked. It has now been two months since purchasing a 2011 BMW 328i xdrive, and my wife still loves it. We have also had excellent experiences with the service department. Dusty Harrison and the rest of the service staff that I have met so far have impressed me with their knowledge and professionalism. More

I initially met Alex by chance looking through the Ann Arbor BMW car lot for a high quality, good value car to replace my wife's 12 year old Volvo. As luck would have it, Alex came out to help. He was unassumingly present, knowledgeable and kind. There was not a moment of 'car salesman' in the experience. He was patient with questions and reassuring with answers. Within the week we purchased a wonderful 328i that my wife loves. I was so pleased with Alex's professionalism and kindness, I went to see him to look at the possibility of replacing my 10 year old Passat some time in the future. He guided me through a no-pressure tour of vehicle possibilities and options we both thought might suit my specific needs. When I told him I wasn't ready he just smiled and said he'd be there when I was. Only days later, the engine in my Passat gave out while driving at highway speeds, leaving me stranded roadside on a Friday afternoon of a long weekend. As I waited hours for a tow truck to arrive, I called Alex and told him my predicament. He said he just received a fully loaded, beautiful X3 that he felt would be perfect for me and would hold it until I could get there the following morning. I have now purchased two wonderful vehicles from Alex and my wife and I are thrilled with both our cars and most particularly the followup service and patient attention that Alex never seems to run short of. Although its not likely we will buy another car for quite a while, Alex's kindness, willingness to help every step of the way and professional demenor is one of the key reasons we are so happy with our purchases and look forward to continuing our relationship. We highly recommend anyone consult Alex Upshur as part of your next vehicle purchase experience if you want it to be an outstanding, professional and truly satisfying one. More

My wife and I were introduced to Mr. Alexander Upshur, my new confidant in car purchasing. He sat us down to discuss my interests in BMW and made us feel very at home. I had previously built the car online to my design and when he ordered it, it was exactly the way I wanted it, no pressure to add extra features. I received my car a few weeks later from Germany, where it was built, and I'm still blown away by the 435i xDrive and my experience since I've made this purchase. Brendan, the financing manager, was also a pleasure to work with. He was also very friendly and made the entire experience very smooth. I will be highly recommending his services to anyone interested in purchasing a new vehicle. More

On my first visit to BMW, I've participated in the purchase of many cars over the years, but my recent buying adventure was the first I've done solo. On my first visit to BMW, after a long and frustrating search for a car to meet my specifications, I was fortunate to meet Alex Upshur. Through a number of visits, he was endlessly patient--listening to me, answering my questions, giving me all the time I needed to think about things and finally building the car that met my needs and wants. At delivery he spent a great deal more time setting up the satellite radio and navigation system and explaining all the "bells and whistles" to a somewhat technologically phobic senior citizen. He has continued to be available as I get to know the car and have further questions. It was a pleasure to work with Alex. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a positive buying experience. More

Alex did a great job of really helping me pick the right BMW for me. There was no pressure during the process, just a lot of great questions to help me decide which car I should buy. When it came time to actually purchase, it was hassle free. The sales manager, Lane was also great to work with. It wasn't your typical back and forth buying process. They made a solid first offer on my trade in and gave me a great price on my new 328i. The entire customer experience was awesome. They make you feel right at home and answer all of your questions. Even Nancy in the finance office was great. Typically, when you do into the finance office you are "sold" very hard on the "extras". Not the case with Nancy. Straight forward and the numbers stayed the same! Since buying the car 1 week ago, I received 2 follow up calls from Alex making sure everything is okay with the car, 1 email from the Sales Manager welcoming me to the family and just yesterday, a box of Godiva Chocolates as a thank you gift (my wife and kids loved them.) All in all, one of the best buying experiences I have ever had. I WILL be going back there for my next one! More
