Will never go there again Totally unhappy and disappointed with the recent service. I took my car to fix a check engine light issue related to small EVP leak. They could not di Totally unhappy and disappointed with the recent service. I took my car to fix a check engine light issue related to small EVP leak. They could not diagnose the problem at first and kept replacing parts one by one every day, eventually replacing fuel neck and charcoal canister and the leak detection pump. My issue is with the quality of the repair. I went under the car when I brought the car home and noticed that fuel neck and the went line have install back using zip ties without using bolts. The hardware that use to clip the air vent filter was missing and it was zip tied to another part and also touching the exhaust line. They have also not installed back the left muffler heat shield. The sales person denied zip tying and loosing parts when I complained. They agreed to put parts back together correctly when I send them the photos of he install without accepting any wrong doing. His excuse was that he forgot to tell me that the parts were zip tied when I paid them and took the car back. They also denied misplacing muffler heat shield but when I insisted that it was there and I need it back, They gave me a new part and wanted $120 to install as one they lost was just lying above the muffler. So they knew that they misplaced it even though didn’t accept it. This behavior shows that this is the typical way they repair (without following Toyota specs) and just hack things together thinking the customer would not notice. It took 4 days for them to install the parts back correctly and I took back the car thinking now all is fine. But then I found the back seat bottom cushion was not installed back properly and the left side seat fastening clip had been broken. The seat cushion has lifting up from both side corners and sliding forward from driver side(left). I just call the sales person(Ashok) and told I want it installed correctly. He said that they did not remove it. Then said he will check with the technician and the service supervisor when I said I know you people removed it and how my car was before the repair. Not just that, there is a big paint scratch near the left rear seat where the fastener was broken and also black hand prints under the lip of the seat cushion. I think technician pry the seat using a pry bar from the sides scratching paint, breaking the left clip and also bending the sides of the sear cushion. These people destroyed every part they touched doing the repair. I took my car to Toyota Braintree thinking they would fix according to Toyota spec. But I was wrong. They are even worse than any other non-Toyota repair shop. I only paid the premium price taking the car Toyota Braintree for repair. I am going to give Toyota Braintree one more chance to correct these issues and I will escalate this to Toyota regional and corporate if Toyota Braintree fail to address them. More

I scheduled a service appt a few days back to receive complimentary services and to have my cabin filter changed on 12/31/2019. I confirmed that I received an email that I could apply a 10% loyalty coupo complimentary services and to have my cabin filter changed on 12/31/2019. I confirmed that I received an email that I could apply a 10% loyalty coupon for the cabin filter. I spoke with Ashok about that. Then on the day of arrival I checked in with Patrick and again verbally mentioned the coupon. He was a bit rushed with me. I had also requested to set an Appt to have my rims checked and never followed up on it. I ended up following up with Ashok about this after my service had been done. I then was brought to the cashier and I paid with cash. I ended up reviewing my receipt when I made it home and it didn’t look like the coupon was added. I then called and a lady from service had confirmed that the coupon wasn’t applied. Then I spoke to Ashok and he said well it’s about $5 but we’d have to give it to you in check. I then said well this was negligence on behalf of Toyota so I shouldn’t have to wait to get this money back. So I said well whatever means that need be I want cash back and you all can figure it out there. This is more of a principles and customer service lesson to them. I don’t know it’s because my age or what it is but I just felt like I was overlooked in this process. Or if this is how these dealerships work. I know customer service and if a customer has to chase you to apply a coupon that the customer has received as part of their loyalty then there is an issue. I have to visit to get my rims checked and for them to “determine” if I can get new rims even though I paid to get warranty for them and I have scratches on them from wear and tear. Just annoying. Even this conversation about the rims was annoying and all I wanted was an estimate of a time of how long it would take to get them checked since the car would need to get dropped off. More
