Rob did a great job finding us a vehicle that is a great match for what we need and want. There wasn't a 2nd key at time of delivery, but came in the next day and Brett in Service had our spare key ready in match for what we need and want. I was looking for a car to replace my 2005 Corolla LE which I bought at this dealership brand new but was totaled in a car accident I was in on 5-7-2023. I had already gone to a few used car dealers in t which I bought at this dealership brand new but was totaled in a car accident I was in on 5-7-2023. I had already gone to a few used car dealers in town, so my plan was to see this dealership last and then go to the Toyota dealership in Lake City, Florida the next day to compare. I REALLY, REALLY wanted a RAV4 first, then a Camry, but not another Corolla. I loved my previous Corolla but just wanted a little larger vehicle this time preferably a small SUV. The prices on the RAV4s were all too high even the used ones. I repeatedly said that I needed to leave to go get an X-ray done plus I was hungry and desperately needed to eat. I also said that I wanted to check out the Lake City Toyota dealership, but this was all ignored. I was suffering with injuries from the accident…severe bruising, three broken ribs, painful breathing and terrible exhaustion. I really wanted to leave, but instead, the Sales Manager (I think) was pulled into the discussion trying to close a deal with me. All the hours of searching and negotiating plus no food, being in pain, and physical and mental exhaustion finally broke my resolve about going to the other dealership. I surrendered! I bought a 2023 Corolla LE and have regretted it ever since because of not getting to check out the other dealership. I know they had multiple RAV4s and Camrys and maybe they could/would have found me what I REALLY wanted instead of settling for the Corolla. There were various things I didn’t like about the new Corolla and even tried the three day “Return Policy, no questions asked,” but I was simply told that there were no vehicles that met my price limit except the car that I bought. End of story! Instead of feeling the excitement and joy of having a new car, I drove away feeling disappointment, frustration and regret. Where I once felt good about this dealership, I now think of it with a multitude of negative emotions. I feel like my physical and psychological state, resulting from my car accident, was taken advantage of just to make a sale for this dealership while preventing a sale for the other Toyota dealership. I wish I had been allowed to pursue my search rather than pressured into staying and buying what “they” wanted, rather than what I wanted. More
