Unfortunately, NoHo VW appears to 'talk the talk', but refuses to 'walk the walk'. The fails included 1) a major misdiagnosis (e.g., they claimed my ECM was bad) that would have made my car only operable for local driving - potentially for months - as a new part is unavailable nationwide with no ETA, 2) a refusal to acknowledge, no less reimburse me for the misdiagnosis - and let's not even get into the many hours spent searching for a used part and driving to my VW dealer of record (I recently returned to the Pioneer Valley) 90 miles away multiple times, 3) a complete unwillingness to help resolve the problem using a used part (same part #, same model, year, and configuration) - something VW Westborough was happy to do - an action that led to a different (and successful) diagnosis (it was a bad fuel pump) and had my car fully functioning within 18 hours, 4) and a complete lack of follow-up from everyone who was sent detailed emails, including the Service Advisor, the Service Manager, and the owner of the dealership. As someone who has owned high-end (Passat W8, Passat 3.6L AWD, CC 3.6L AWD) Volkswagen cars for 20 years I've never had such a horrific experience with a VW Dealership - and the management at NoHo VW don't seem to care. More
