I recently had the experience of purchasing a Subaru Forester from Quality Subaru of Wallingford, and I wanted to share my thoughts on the process. Customer Service: ★★★★★ From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. My sales representative, Chris Carey, was knowledgeable and genuinely interested in finding the right car for me. They took the time to understand my needs and preferences, which made the experience feel personalized rather than transactional. Inventory: ★★★★★ The selection of vehicles was impressive, with a range of makes and models to choose from. I appreciated the variety of both new and certified pre-owned options. I did lots of research before visiting the dealership and found that Quality Subaru offered the prepared vehicle I was looking for. Pricing: ★★★★ While the initial pricing seemed competitive, I found the negotiation process pretty straightforward, I was hoping to negotiate a lower price, but they held firm. All fees were clearly explained upfront, although the warranty add-ons were not offered until after cost was negotiated. It would have been helpful if they were more transparent about additional costs from the beginning. Expect an additional 3-4K after negotiations if you are interested in add on warranty coverage. Financing Options: ★★★★ The dealership offered various financing options, and the finance manager was very helpful in explaining the different plans available. I was able to secure a loan with a competitive interest rate, which made the purchase more manageable. Overall Experience: ★★★★ Overall, my experience with Quality Subaru of Wallingford was positive. The excellent customer service and wide selection of vehicles. I drove away in a car that I love and feel confident in my purchase. I would recommend this dealership to others. Final Thoughts: Buying a car can be a stressful experience, but with the right dealership, it can also be enjoyable.
