Worst car buying experience ever! Every time I asked to speak to a manager about details and updates regarding my car getting serviced after the check engine light illuminated and tur Every time I asked to speak to a manager about details and updates regarding my car getting serviced after the check engine light illuminated and turbo failing within the first week of purchasing, I was told that they are not present and I’ll receive a call tomorrow. I was also never provided a loner car during the entire time my car was being serviced (almost 2 weeks). When I got the car back from their service center, they didn’t have the itemized maintenance report ready, or the codes from before and after service. It wasn’t until the next day in the afternoon when I received the docs in email. I also noticed that the boost gauge was not working at all. I received the car in worse condition due to the fact that the check engine light illuminated within the first 2 days, the turbo was failing and getting worse and now the boost gauge. I am now trying to get my car serviced for the second time but want to make sure they have a loner car ready for me during the time they fix my car. They told me in the past two days that no loner car or manager to approve my request but that I can drop off the vehicle… all these issues without even getting to the cost issue… $19000 was their advertised price and I paid over $26000 out the door with $10500 down payment. After looking at the numbers more closely, I noticed many discrepancies…. And some to be illegal…. More

After I left this review and the same one on other sites, I got a call from the General Manager at Castle. We had a very nice conversation in which I felt like I was finally speaking to a colleague in the business. He completely understood my point of view and agreed that in this case, there was enough fault on the service department to justify my request for the refund of my $100 extended warranty deductible. He also offered to refund me money to cover the cost of the relays that I bought myself to actually fix the concern. I told him that was not necessary since the relays would not have been covered by my extended warranty and I would have had to pay for them anyway. However, just today I received the check from Castle for the deductible and the cost of the relays. At this point, its not even about the money being returned, its about the fact that I actually was able to speak to a person who actually cares about his business. Its still upsetting that I had to go this far in order to reach someone who actually is in the business of caring about client satisfaction, but at least I got there. I appreciate the time he spent to handle this matter for me. I am changing my original rating, and not because I got my money back, but because I found that there is someone at Castle who actually cares. Thanks Corey. More

I appreciate them going the extra distance to make sure my experience was quick and easy as I vehicle purchase and made the buying experience easy. I love this dealership, from the moment my wife and I walked through the door we felt appreciated. Price of vehicle was good.Mileage was nowhere near as Price of vehicle was good. Mileage was nowhere near as advertised. I requested a confirmation during quoting and was told it would be close to advertised. 2000+ miles is not close! Especially since I had asked for confirmation. Took 3 quotes to get an out the door price. At the dealership I was told it would be a little more $50? and luckily I had a copy of the quote and it was honored without question. Vehicle was not ready for pickup, was not cleaned. Vehicle was put on lift for inspection-thank you- some folks struggle with this. I requested vehicle to be cleaned after inspection. After additional cleaning was requested I assumed it was done, just a quick sweep of the interior floor and seats were done and not very well. Trunk had glitter and dirt, carpet was not swept underneath the seats and was highly visible as the door was opened. Your vehicle inspection leaves a lot to be desired... Not able to check engine air filter or cabin filter at the dealership. Cabin filter was atrocious and definitely needed replaced. Engine filter was marginal. I have replaced both. Ended up sweeping entire vehicle the day after. Salt stains on the carpet and I will need to steam clean once it gets warmer out. Same for the seats, dirty not salty. I could tell this vehicle was used by the dealership as a internal loaner for salesmen as some personal pay stubs were left in the glovebox along with personal mail! That's probably where all the glitter came from. Oil looked relatively clean since there was at least 2000 miles on it and it was the correct amount. Evan did OK it was the others that supported him that were lacking. I would have expected this condition from a private seller but not a long time dealer. Because of the pricing I didn't complain too much but had the other dealer I was working with had an accurate quote I would have reviewed his vehicle (almost identical) and possibly purchased it as out the door price was very competitive. More
