Several weeks before purchasing our vehicle we made a call to the service department regarding a sound that was coming from the engine on our 2008 Buick LaCrosse. Although very busy when we arrived, the service manager, Greg Oliver, greeted us warmly and told us he would check our vehicle if we could wait a few extra minutes. He did not pass us on to another employee....Greg was very helpful in diagnosing the problem and recommending a solution. Due to the service provided by Greg Oliver, we made a decision to return and purchase a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu. Our sales person, Clinton Gerrish, manager Corey Upton and finance department manager, Bobby Haddad made it a most positive experience in every way. We HIGHLY recommend Herb Chambers Chevrolet to anyone wishing to purchase a new vehicle. More

A few weekends ago my girlfriend and I were driving around when a particular used car in the Herb Chambers Chevy of Danvers lot caught our eye. Sales consultant Greg, who was immediately very friendly and knowledgable suggested the Chevy Equinox might be a better fit for my constant business traveling and cargo needs. This past weekend we came in for a test drive not expecting to purchase a new car that day but we did because of the great offer on my trade in, the wonderful price on a beautiful 2014 car and the personalities we interfaced with (namely Greg and Corey). They were really wonderful, I never once felt like I was being sold or pressure. It was casual, friendly, and I walked away feeling great about the entire experience (one that I have already told many of my close friends about). Greg is a shining star in the Herb Chambers group. The only downside to signing papers and driving away is that I don't get to hang out with him next weekend. Corey was kind and accommodating, understanding my situation and my need have the car on the road almost immediately. The business manager Bobby was also a great help in the process. I needed my car delivered within a day for a business trip and they were able to make that happen. From getting the lojack and other options installed, to sending a runner to my town hall to register the car, they went above and beyond the call of duty and I won't forget that. More

Walked in figuring I'd be the nightmare customer that made the salesmen cringe, luckily I got to work with Greg Ormiston & Corey Upton. I had a list items that I required in a car and told them that there would be no compromises, they listened and worked to find me what I wanted. Thrilled with the attention and assistance provided by both of them. Went back about a week after I picked up the car, the bluetooth system and I were not on the best of terms, so I popped into the dealership. Thankfully, Bobby Haddad was available and knew exactly what the issue was. I now love the car even more. More

As stressful as a car buying experience can be the team at Herb Chambers was a pleasure with which to work.. Cory Stewart was an example of what a sales person shoud be; a problem solver, good listener and at Herb Chambers was a pleasure with which to work.. Cory Stewart was an example of what a sales person shoud be; a problem solver, good listener and best of all we ended up with what we came to purchase! Cory Upton on the other hand was a little trite and quick to try to establish himself as the manager of sales ( my wife, being a little more direct, thought his approach to be aggresive and off putting). Bobby Haddock showed why be is the manager finance with full effiency and completeness that actually was able to sell us on the extended coverage (amazing!). More

I came up from Connecticut to lease my vehicle, and my experience at the dealership was fantastic. Herb Chambers was smart sending out a mailer for a years worth of free oil/filter changes to Saturn owners. I took advantage of them and was very impressed with the service department. My 9 year old Saturn required some major work, and I was offered a free Enterprise Rental for the few days it took for the part to come in....worked for me. So when another costly repair job arose, I opted to trade in the Saturn and buy a new car from Herb. It was the service department that initiated the sale, but it was the sales staff that closed the deal. Clinton, Corey and John....no pressure sales, just gave me the information that I needed. 24 hrs later I was driving off the lot with a new Chevy Cruze. I was pleasantly surprised with the entire process, and I love my new car. More
