My Review Of Dahl Ford Davenport:

I have a highly-modified 2005 Mustang and typically take it to my regular mechanic. As a general rule, I try to avoid dealerships like the plague. However, I recently had a particular problem that was, I felt after a LOT of consideration, probably best left to a Ford dealership to resolve. I bought my Mustang at Dahl Ford and knew it had a decent air of professionalism about the place. I contacted Dan Wich by phone and arranged to bring in the vehicle. Before the day of my appointment, I went out to meet with Dan in person. I wanted him to see my Mustang (seeing it gives everyone a pretty good idea of how "special" it is to me). I again explained the problem, and Dan left me feeling comfortable in my decision to leave my Mustang with the Dahl service department.

When I brought it in on the day of my appointment, April Ricketts handled things... took my keys, went over the work to be performed, et cetera. She arranged for someone at the dealership to drive me to work that morning (and when the work was all done, to pick me up from work). She, like Dan, also made me feel like my Mustang wouldn't be "hurt" while in their care.

Later that day, Dan called me at work and told me they had identified the problem, located the correct replacement part, and gave me a cost estimate. I gave him my permission to proceed with the work. When everything was done, and I picked up my Mustang, the problem (an issue with the lumbar support) was resolved to my satisfaction, there was no damage to the interior, and a walkaround revealed no dents or scratches. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and actually came out a bit cheaper than I was expecting. Dan and April are professionals, courteous, and they treat you like people, not just portable wallet carriers. Though I am still going to avoid dealerships like the plague... at least where my Mustang is concerned... I have no problem whatsoever in recommending Dahl's service department. If you deal with Dan or April, I believe you'll be taken care of properly and in a manner to your liking.

My Review Of Dahl Ford Davenport:

Lisa is a top shelf professional. She respected our time and our situation with family. She made us very comfortable and was a straight up honest person. Her followup and thoroughness was excellent and you could tell she has both the customer relationship and Dahl Ford's reputation foremost. One of the most comfortable deals our family has made.

Dan Wich and his service staff are always professional, have a listening ear for customer questions, and have a high diagnostic aptitude sense about issues that insure the problems are fixed right the first time and at lowest cost long term.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY EXPERIENCE I HAD AT DAHL FORD. I DID A LOT OF COMPARISON SHOPPING AND IT ALWAYS SEEMED DAHL HAD THE EDGE. IT WASN'T JUST THEY HAD THE TRUCK I WANTED AT THE PRICE I WAS LOOKING FOR. IT WAS THE SMALL THINGS THAT GOT MY ATTENTION, DOWN TO REMEMBERING TO CALL YOU BACK, OR KNOWING TO NOT CALL AT CERTAIN TIMES, GOING OVER EACH FEATURE MAKING SURE YOU SEE HOW AND WHY THAT IS A VALUE ADDED ITEM, ETC.

MY SALESMAN TOM DID EVERYTHING I ASKED AND DELIVERED A TRUCK THAT FIT ME EXACTLY TO HOW I ASKED. IT WAS NICE TO WORK WITH SOMEONE SO PROFESSIONAL AND SEEMED TO WORK WITH ME ON MY WANTS AND NOT PUSHING WHATEVER THE CURRENT BIG PROMOTION WAS. HE MADE SURE I WAS GETTING WHAT I WANTED. I REALLY APPRECIATED THAT. IT SEEMS ALL TO OFTEN SALESMAN PUSH WHAT THEY WANT AND NOT FOCUS ON WHAT YOU ARE REALLY LOOKING FOR.

THE EXPERIENCE ONCE I SIGNED THE DEAL, MADE IT EVEN MORE COMFORTING TO ME. THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL IN ALL ASPECTS TO MAKING SURE I KNEW THE IN'S AND OUT'S ON THE SYNC SYSTEM, HOW THE DELIVERY WAS GOING TO GO, MAKING SURE I KNEW OF EACH FEATURE AND HOW IT WORKED.

MY TRUCK IS RUNNING GREAT AND I AM LOVING DRIVING IT. I HAVE RECEIVED MULTIPLE CALLS FROM DAHL MAKING SURE I HOW COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH MY PURCHASE, AND I AM. VERY NICE TO WORK WITH A COMPANY THAT HASN'T FORGOTTEN ABOUT THE LOST ART OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I AM VERY HAPPY I CHOSE A FORD TRUCK AND VERY HAPPY I CHOSE TO BUY IT AT DAHL. TOM MADE ME FEEL LIKE A VERY COMFORTABLE AND A VERY WELL INFORMED TRUCK BUYER. I WOULD RECOMMEND DAHL TO ANYONE THINKING OF MAKING A VEHICLE PURCHASE. YOU'LL BE VERY HAPPY YOU DID.

My Review Of Dahl Ford Davenport:

I bought my first new car, a 1964 Mustang from Nels Johnson at Dahl Ford when the Mustangs first were introduced. Since then, I have bought many new and used cars from numerous auto dealers in the QCA, a great percentage from Dahl.

I have always found Dahl Ford to be a great place to buy a vehicle. I can not say enough good things about the staff at the dealership; from Jerry in the body shop, to Gary and the guys in parts, to Dan and April and the crew at service desk. Tim O'Leary (sales) has been excellent to work with and always available when needed. Ken Dahl was a good friend of my son and I can see why. He is energetic and driven to suceed both personally and for Dahl Ford. I appreciate his candor and is constant presence at the dealership; he is a true people person...even though he needs to take singing lessons if he continues to record those "happy birthday" greetings....
