Purchased a so called "Certified" pre owned Dodge Ram I saw this truck on the internet and went down to take a look. My salesmen was Neil and right off the bat I liked him. He seemed straight forward and I saw this truck on the internet and went down to take a look. My salesmen was Neil and right off the bat I liked him. He seemed straight forward and honest and I still feel pretty much the same way about him. Not so for the dealership, management, and finance. I haggled price a little bit with them and they agreed to go down $1,000. It wasn't what I wanted but still not bad for the truck from the research I did. Well, when it came time to have the truck delivered to me that's when things turned bad. As soon as I got there I could tell that the truck was not detailed very well. The oil life on the indicator was very low. and they delivered the truck to me with an empty tank of gas. The truck was also advertised with a bed cover and they threw whatever they could find off another truck on there with no keys for the cover!! When I asked about it they told me just go to a locksmith and get keys made. Really?? When it came time to sit down with finance the numbers didn't add up and then I understood why. Neil went over the charges with me a few days before and had put a $300 and something dollar charge for some kind of prep fee. I argued it but they wouldn't budge. So then when I get to finance I didn't realize it until I got home because these finance guys are so slick he rambled right past it. Yes, all my fault for being so gullible. Well they added over another $800 for a destination fee!!! I've done some research and there is not supposed to be a destination fee on a used vehicle!!! A friend of mine went to Smithtown Dodge a few months later and bought a used Ram there and they didn't charge them any fees. Just the price plus tax. They ripped me off. Their way of getting back the $1000 I negotiated and then some. Neil was a very nice man but this dealership is not reputable in my opinion. They got me and it is all my fault but it doesn't change the fact they they use underhanded sales practices. I love the truck, don't get me wrong but not happy at all with this dealership. More

My dream come true! The lease on my GMC Terrain was expiring - thank god! Always wanted a Jeep Wrangler - I stopped in to East Hills Jeep Chrysler one night - I pass t The lease on my GMC Terrain was expiring - thank god! Always wanted a Jeep Wrangler - I stopped in to East Hills Jeep Chrysler one night - I pass the dealership almost everyday on my way to work. I was assigned to a Ingrid who greeted me. I told her I was interested in a Jeep and I immediately brought up the chassis issue. Her response was speak to Mike Grimaldi , he is our Jeep specialist. I sat down at Mikes desk, explained that I always wanted a Jeep but that I had 3 months left on my Terrain, and I wanted info and a test drive and I also told him that I was not ready to decide that night. Mike, gave me his undivided attention, took me out on a test drive - spent over an hour with me - It was a great experience. He educated me on the culture of the Jeep owners, pointed out some quirks unique to the Jeep Wrangler and gave me tons of information. He gave me a ballpark figure for a 39 month lease. I was a little surprised at the amount, initially, more than I wanted to spend, but I left with a really good feeling and more importantly, I knew I could call Mike if I had additional questions, which I did. Later that week, I called a leasing individual just to check payment amounts, the leasing person came out cheaper, but I was not certain if he actually had the exact Jeep I wanted with the exact equipment. Mike followed up with me , I was honest with him - he replied that if things fell through with the leasing guy to call him. Later that week Ed Whiffen, Sales Manager sent me an email that he would really appreciate my business and to give him a final chance. So I called, went through the details and after a bit of back and forth , Ed met the price. A real gentlemen as was Mike. No arm twisting, no typical dealership crap . Ed then put me back in contact with Mike and Mike walked me through the financing process and I picked up my 2018 Pumpkin Jeep Wrangler on October 31, and I couldn't be happier. Even the pick up process was great , thank you Arnie- short and sweet and NO Surprises. The best experience ever ! Thank you Mike , Ed and East Hills More

Just leased a lemon Sahara Wrangler 600 miles car not usable In August 2018 I returned my previous lease Sahara Wrangler, and leased a new 2018 Sahara Wrangler after Ed the manager shared its new improvements. In August 2018 I returned my previous lease Sahara Wrangler, and leased a new 2018 Sahara Wrangler after Ed the manager shared its new improvements. Upon receipt of my Wrangler at 600 miles the car traveling at 50 miles per hour suddenly started bucking and dropped abruptly to 10 miles per hour then shot back to 40 miles per hour finally sticking at 10 miles per hour continously bucking until I could get to a safe spot to call road side assistance. East Hills Jeep had the car for a week returned it to me and said " Most likely some wires loose as this can happen to new cars in transport to dealerships". I trusted they did their due diligence, At around 1600 miles on a busy road doing 45 miles per hour the same issue happened, however this time i was almost rear ended as the car abruptly dropped to 20 miles per hour, only within seconds to rev back to 45 miles per hour. Car towed, Mike the service manager extremely sympathetic states its the same code as at 600 miles ,shares when he took it out for ride it happened to him 2 times, thus 4 times within 6 weeks the same issue same code yet unable as they shared to fix. Response to us they needed to call corporate. Corporate shares this has never happened before,that was over a week ago, No action from East Hills Jeep. No call from Ed the manager or the owner of East Hills who is very visible there greeting new clients. Noteworthy, we have 4 jeeps currently leased with this dealership under the old owner and team and never had any issues with attentiveness to service with the cars. I believe how you treat and handle problems concerning your products after the sale is paramount to the core of a company's true mission of excellence. For now, continue to pass East Hills Jeep and find another Jeep dealership, unless you want to stop for a cup of LEMONADE. More
