They explained every step of the process clearly and treated us with exceptional care and professionalism. We initially came in for one vehicle and ended up purchasing two, and we truly couldn't have done it without Ingrid's dedication and support. She went above and beyond to make the experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and we highly recommend working with Ingrid and Dean! More

I am a long time customer of East Hills Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, having purchased or leased multiple vehicles at the dealership over nearly 3 decades (despite the fact that I live 45 minutes or more from the d Ram, having purchased or leased multiple vehicles at the dealership over nearly 3 decades (despite the fact that I live 45 minutes or more from the dealership). I have always been a satisfied customer of their sales and service departments - until now. My current lease is a 2023 Wrangler 4xe with three months remaining on the lease. I leased the vehicle in October 2022 with the intention of helping to limit pollutants and save money on gasoline. During the period of my lease there have been 4 recalls… 3 this year. All of the recalls have been for risk of spontaneous fires - the first three related to battery separation on the lithium battery on the electric motor. Most recently, I became aware of a new recall resulting from risk of the wiring harness spontaneously combusting (even when the vehicle is off). In multiple recalls we have been advised not to park the Jeep near structures or other vehicles. In two of the recalls, we were advised not to charge the electric motor and to drive the vehicle on gas only (defeating the purpose of driving a non gasoline vehicle and adding expense to my monthly budget on top of the premium cost of leasing a hybrid electric vehicle. After the previous recalls I asked East Hills to take my lease back early as well as provide the contact information for the Stellantis zone representative as I do understand that this is a manufacturer issue primarily. I never received a response with the zone rep information. When I became aware of the most recent recall, I again reached out to the leadership at the dealership advising that I no longer feel safe driving the Wrangler and asking them to take the Jeep back and cover the remaining 3 lease payments. Again I requested the name and contact information for the Stellantis Zone representative so that I could follow up with them directly. I have not received any acknowledgment or response from the dealership to this request. Interestingly enough, I did receive a “personalized” email from Mike Kennedy, the floor manager at East Hills, highlighting the current Jeep specials and encouraging me to come into the dealership to discuss getting out of my current lease and into a new Jeep. These “personalized” emails come regularly (sometimes more than once weekly) but the leadership at the dealership won’t respond to a specific concern initiated by a long time customer. I am not interested in leasing or purchasing another product manufactured by Stellantis as their quality control and attention to detail is suspect. That said, East Hills has several other vehicle manufacturers in their portfolio. I would have considered leasing or purchasing from one of these other dealerships until my most recent experiences. I cannot in good faith do business with a corporation that does not value the safety of its customers (especially a long time repeat customer). I realize that product defects and recalls are plaguing multiple vehicle manufacturers. How the individual dealership responds to their customer’s needs and concerns dictates whether a customer is likely to continue doing business with that dealership. Barring East Hills or Stellantis reaching out to resolve these concerns, I will drive the Wrangler only as necessary until the lease ends and hope that my safety concerns are not realized. More

I am writing a review of my service experience at East Hills Jeep. It was just a pleasure not the usual insanity as in most dealerships when you bring your car for service. So on my return home my wife sa Hills Jeep. It was just a pleasure not the usual insanity as in most dealerships when you bring your car for service. So on my return home my wife said, your back early was everything ok. I said this is the best way to describe my experience. Your best friend owns a high end service center. You walk into the service center area, are greeted warmly and in minutes your information is on an iPad and the simplicity starts there. You tell them your needs, concerns and pleasantly your information is entered and the process begins. You’re invited to the waiting area and there is a full barista coffee bar, real snacks, bottled water and two wide screen television. Comfortable chairs and a pleasant atmosphere make the waiting experience ok. You’re informed it will be an hour and halfway through your advisor comes out to update you. You’re adjacent to the new car showroom which is inviting as it’s the biggest candy store of cars in a state of the art showroom. An hour passes your advisor comes out and informs you all is well everything was taken care of and enjoy your day. That’s the service experience with Elliot the service advisor and the Service Manager, Rafael who are just first class men. Six months ago my Wrangler had a service issue that left me stranded on the Expressway. It was a day before leaving for a vacation and a harrowing experience. I call roadside that set up a tow and the Jeep was taken to East Hills Jeep. I called in and was informed it would be impossible to get my Jeep back the next day. So I called Rafael. My Wrangler had a coolant issue with a faulty part that required replacement and it was also on a recall campaign. We were supposed to leave for vacation in the morning. So I spoke to him explaining my issue and he said, ‘RELAX I WILL MAKE SURE YOUR JEEP IS FIXED AND YOU WILL ENJOY YOUR VACATION TO VERMONT’ Thank you all. Without question one of the finest dealerships on Long Island. Richard CIRAMI More

My fenders got ripped off on the streets so I took it in to get new fenders installed. Their body shop damaged the clear coat and the dealership did not want to take responsibility for it. They said the dam to get new fenders installed. Their body shop damaged the clear coat and the dealership did not want to take responsibility for it. They said the damage was already there...however they took photos of the car when I dropped it off...and somehow they cannot pull up the images. Rafael the service manager did not want to go back and forth with me and straight up told me they aren't going to cover it because they didn't do it. Kind of ironic my dash cam was also unplugged leaving a gap in footage of when they did the repair. CMO Phil, please do respond to this review trying to defend their case. More

NICE WHEN SELLING YOU A CAR...HORRIBLE WHEN YOU NEED IT SERVICED We have purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership, a Chrysler and a Jeep. The sales department was nice, but what I am learning, is that SERVICED We have purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership, a Chrysler and a Jeep. The sales department was nice, but what I am learning, is that they make false promises just to make a sale. When we purchased our Jeep, we were presented with a sales pitch to buy a Lifetime Warranty for the vehicle. We were told that it would give us top notch service whenever we needed it as well as a loaner car, whenever our car was in for this 5-star service. Five days ago, we went to pick up our 8-year-old son from football practice and the dashboard on our Jeep lit up like a Christmas tree and the whole thing just died. We had it towed to East Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, since this is where we bought it and was made all of these promises. My husband called the service department first thing in the morning, to explain what happened and see about getting a loaner vehicle. He was told by Jon in Service that they most likely would not even get around to checking out our vehicle that day (Thursday) and it may be as late as Monday before they even get to look at it. He was also informed that they had no loaners available for at least 2 weeks. He asked about the promises made when we bought the vehicle and the additional warranty and was basically told, too bad. When he then asked to speak to the general manager, he was put on the phone with Judy Burr, who was much less than pleasant. She was dismissive, did not seem to care at all and quite rude. My husband showed up at the dealership a couple of hours after this whole unpleasant phone experience, to get tools out of our Jeep, that he needed for work. He pulled into the parking lot, right next to 2 workers who were standing there on their phones. He opened the back of our unlocked Jeep and loaded over $2,000 worth of tools into the back of our Escalade. Not one of the workers looked up or questioned what he was doing. He then drove around to the front and went into the dealership to question if this is how they always operate, without any regard to their customer's belongings or good customer service in general. Once again, nobody seemed to care at all. It is now Monday and they informed us that our Jeep needs a new alternator and PCM. Although both covered by the warranty, they advised that the parts will not be in until September 21st and they still don’t have any loaner vehicles. That means they will have my Jeep for over a month and they will not even provide any loaner for us to use! Both my husband and I are First Responders and work overnight in different locations, not to mention our 6 kids who are going to be starting school and activities next week. We need a 2nd vehicle and are now forced to pay an arm and a leg for a rental, since they had no loaners, like they promised. The customer service at this dealership is extremely lacking. Although our 2 teenage sons both want Jeeps, I can guarantee that we will NOT be purchasing them from this location and perhaps from any FCA brand at all, if this is how they treat their customers.
