My Review Of Sunset Chevrolet:

My husband and I were looking for a vehicle to replace a family Chevy truck. After much research on the computer we ended our search at Sunset. The level of service we received, well, hard to put into words. I have purchased several new cars and I was blown away and the ease of the transaction. They handled everything over the internet or phone. When it was all said and done I arrived at Sunset with that, holy crap, attitude. Not wanting to spend all day dealing with finance and back and forth stuff. Boy was I surprised! We signed a few pieces of paper, ok 20 ish, Car was out front washed and ready to go. After a little schooling from Jason we were off and going. Thank you to the whole crew for keeping us up and driving.

My Review Of Sunset Chevrolet:

I'm sure like most people I wanted to get more for less. I traded in a 2010 F-150 XLT for a 2013 Silverado LTZ. I like both trucks. I was at a Nissan dealer killing time and saw a truck with 11K off the MSRP so I decided to look around. I went to a Ford dealer and they just didn't have the rebates at the time. Sunset said they could possibly do something so we took about 20 minutes to run some numbers. Sure enough, even with A LOT of negative equity I was able to get into a truck with more content and still lower my payment by about $75.00 a month. I worked with Dave Goeke in sales. Great guy and knew his stuff. As far as the finance department. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. It helped that there was no one in front of me.

My Review Of Sunset Chevrolet:

I had researched my vehicle, 2013 Avalanche, thoroughly prior to going to any dealership. After visiting a few Chevy dealerships in the Puget Sound area I was advised by a co-worker to check out Sunset Chev. Like I always do I researched them online, and submitted my info through my financial institution and one of their preferred dealers was Sunset. Sky Sparling contacted me fairly quickly over the phone, in which case I missed the call as I was busy with my kids. I gave him a call back shortly after giving him the details of what I was looking for. At that time it was a 2013 Avalanche, but had some slight interest in the Silverado. He told me they had plenty of both to choose from and check out. He even sent me build sheets with all options that were installed, listing rebates, and bottom line pricing. A couple days later I packed up the kids and went down to check out their inventory, and to meet Sky. At this time Sky was busy with another customer. I'm a person that hates dealing with different people every time I go to a dealership. DJ Giefer came out to greet me and my little ones. This guy is great, very personable, and knowledgable. I had decided to look at the Silverado, and I fell in love. I think I spent about 3 hours down there test driving, and asking just about every question under the sun, and the occasional BS'ing, DJ had an answer every time. There was just one minor disagreement about the USAA rebate, in which had cleared up after I had left. The great part about these guys is they didn't hound me. I requested them not to call after a certain time, and by god they didn't.
The day I went down to do the "deal" was surprisingly pleasant, which was with Sky Sparling. They worked with me to make sure I got the "perfect" Silverado for me. They didn't try to pressure me in getting a truck that was over loaded with crap I didn't want or need. There was no back and forth, back and forth with the manager in another room that you can't see, and waiting for hours upon hours. Sky sat and listed out the options I wanted and got pricing for each one, even scoring me a free dvd player for the back. Even made sure he found every single rebate he possibly could get for me under the sun.

Financing was pretty much a breeze as well. I worked with Eric, don't know his last name. I had already gotten financing through my own credit union, at a great rate and he didn't even try to BS me saying he could do better. Flat out said I already had a great rate and he couldn't do any better. I did not get enough on my financing so had to basically resubmit, and they let me drive away that day with the truck. Granted he did draw up paperwork for financing through them just in case.

Needless to say, hands down, this was the best car buying experience of my life. These guys really go out of their way and put the time and effort into customer service. I just hope it continues through to service. I would definitely buy with Sunset again, and would refer them to anyone.

Update: Do not purchase after market stereo through them. Due to the fact they contract out their after market electronic equipment sales/installation to Car Toys, I am not happy with that aspect of the whole process. First I thought I was going to get a back-up camera that was installed similar to OEM in the tailgate. WRONG! They installed a license plate frame camera, cheaper and easier to damage. Gave it chance. I have never known Car Toys to be a company that performs quality installation, or even have good customer service. I thought that being a contract through Sunset their level of quality would be raised....WRONG! After receiving my truck after having a stereo, drop down dvd, and back up camera installed, I noticed that there was a high pitched whine in the speakers that got louder when pressing the accelerator. Usually a sign of a bad ground. Back-up camera would flicker out every time I went over a bump, i.e. backing out of my drive way. Investigated the camera and found that the cable was not secured to anything under the truck, and the excess cable was stuffed on top of the spare tire. Contacted Sunset at this point. Told them I did not want cartoys to touch my truck again. Reasoned with me to let cartoys right it. I hesitantly agreed, wanting a real professional. Put a dvd in the head unit and had it play on the drop down player. Could hardly see it from all the lines in the picture. Pulled head unit out myself to see if I could fix the issue. After finally untangling all the wires I finally just decided to remove it and install the factory unit. After doing so, I started up the truck and the acceleration whine was gone. Sounded great. So, I decided to just pull it all out, the head unit, back-up camera, and USB connector. When pulling USB out I found they mounted it in with the same kind of wood screws I have in my shop. Now I just want to exchange the product in which I will just do the work my self. I am back to my original stance of not letting car toys touch my truck. Also found out that the reason car toys has a contract with Sunset, is that the manager of car toys is related to one of the managers at Sunset. Great business decision there, and then dumping a company that has more experience in after market installation in the country. For the price I was charged for the equipment, I expected a whole lot more to be honest.

So after having car toys attempt to correct the issues they created, they completely failed...EPIC FAIL. I praise and thank Sky Sparling for putting up with my nagging, b*tching, and complaining. After going through the hoops I have finally got my stereo/dvd system to work as advertised, and looks completely professional. Thanks to the professionals at ADC Mobile. It took 3 ADC Mobile technicians 4 hours to completely redo my system. 12 man hours that should have been done right the first time. If Sunset listens to their customers, they'll hold onto ADC Mobile. Obviously they are true reliable professionals, not a bunch of hacks tearing up peoples vehicles and over charging people to do so. Great job Sunset and ADC Mobile.

We had a great experience buying our 2011 Equinox. I had no idea what kind of car I was looking for but Nick and John did a great job of showing me what was on hand and letting me test drive several before making my choice. There was no pressure to buy, they worked a deal I was happy with, they gave me fair trade in on my old car and Mark in finance worked hard to get me great terms on the loan during a holiday weekend. This was without a doubt the best car buying experience I've ever had and I will not hesitate to send friends and family to Sunset Cevrolet!

My Review Of Sunset Chevrolet:

My husband really wanted me to buy a new vehicle. I had a 2010 Toyota Corolla which I loved. We now have 2 Weimerainers and they take up a lot of space and my car was just a tad to small. My husband wanted to go down to Sunset Chevrolet to look at SUV's. I wasn't really excited about buying a new vehicle, but the moment we got out of our vehicle, Dave Goeke (one of the many salesmen) greeted us with smiles, asked what we were interested in and not once was pushy. He let us look around, answered all of our questions.
The greatest part for me personally was we took our 2 puppies with us and Dave also let us put them in the back of the Chevy Equinox we were interested in to see how they would fit. Not a lot of places would have allowed that.
I can honestly say they have an excellent team, all the way from Finance, to Sales, to their service department. Each and everytime you walk in there they make you feel like you are the 1 and only customer, you leave satisfied. Almost like family.
They work with you to get you out the door with the vehicle you want, also the finance department made everything painless & easy.
Not only do they offer free oil changes for life, they also now have free car washes anytime.
I will say if anyone is interested in buying a new or used vehicle, Sunset Chevrolet would be the place to go. Ask for Dave Goeke and he will take care of you the moment you step out of your vehicle. Dave knows what his guests like and how to help you 100%.

Enjoy the experience, you will never buy a vehicle anywhere else.

My Review Of Sunset Chevrolet:

My husband and I have been buying vehicles for years from Sunset Chev because the people there treat us like family, even if we are just out looking to see what is new they don't push, they let us enjoy what is offered. We usually buy because we like the look of something not because it is needed. This time it was 2 2012 Silverado's we are very happy. The service team there are also very pleasant to work with.
I went to another dealer and bought a vehicle, I had It less than one week my heart wasn't in it all around it didn't fit me. That was a Sunday the following Friday I went to Sunset Chev and they made it better by putting me in vehicle the sales consultant knew I would love.
Sunset Chev is the best!

Financing makes it painless they always have the papers ready so we can sign and get out in the new vehicles.
Free oil changes are a bonus, although the service dept is friendly and they make it easy to call or stop in with questions.
I'll say it again, Sunset Chevrolet is the BEST!
Pricing has always been one of the reasons we've been able to almost always have a new car or truck in our driveway!

Dave knows what his guests like and how to help them get it!
