Exceptional customer service!!! Gilberto and Erik were amazing every step of the way to closing my deal!! And I wasn’t there an entire day! Few hrs, start to finish. Customers BEWARE! Hello Mr. Nero, I wan to share my unpleasant experience at Universal Nissan with you. I went to the dealership looking to upgrade my ride to a picku Hello Mr. Nero, I wan to share my unpleasant experience at Universal Nissan with you. I went to the dealership looking to upgrade my ride to a pickup truck. Gilberto the salesman told me that the used “like new” Frontier could be the best to fit my situation because of the rebates and to get more money for my trade in. He came with some numbers and I was not into the deal, that’s when Ruben Matos came in and offered me a utility rack, full gas tank and a gift card. I told Gilberto that I need to make a payment on my Honda and he told not to make the payment and ask me for that money to put it as down payment. Everything was peaches & cream until I signed the contract. Now all of the sudden Gilberto is passing the ball to Ruben and Ruben to the finance guy and viceversa. I end up signing a contract without having any rebates apply to the price, a higher interest rate on the loan, the rack never installed, no gas card, no gift card and nobody seems to care. Now Honda financial is asking for the payment and I have been told by Gilberto that I’m behind on my payments and is my responsibility to bring it up to date. My experience with Universal Nissan has been a total nightmare. More
