I dealt with people that know their VWs and were honest in their handling of the transaction, and the deal and service were well worth the extra travel distance to get me into exactly the car I wanted at a price I was happy to pay. I would gladly do business with Lakeland VW again with no hesitation. Kudos to the team at Lakeland VW! More

Not honest! At all!! I own a 2013 Passat tdi with 25k miles and was looking to trade it in for a GTI. I was told by the salesman that VW would buy back my vehicle at the v I own a 2013 Passat tdi with 25k miles and was looking to trade it in for a GTI. I was told by the salesman that VW would buy back my vehicle at the value it was prior to the scandal since it was on of the vehicles affected. He also told me that the dealership has no say in the value that VW would give me. After the dealership looked at my vehicle it was rated as in excellent condition. I went ahead and asked what they would give for the trade and they came back with 12k. So prior to the scandal (6 months earlier) I looked up the value of my car and it was 21k. So basically the dealership knows VW would buy back my vehicle at around 19k but they were trying to under cut me and rip me off. I left immediately while the salesman was trying to offer me $500 extra off. This dealership is a joke and tries to capitalize on tdi scandal. I will never go back to this dealership and I will never buy another VW! More

I bought a 2009 VW Jetta SEL for my first car from Hiram and I could not be happier! As I said it was my first car and it was very exciting for me, especially since I'll be rolling in it to my college! My and I could not be happier! We were offered refreshments and seating, it was a very nice and welcoming environment. It did not take very long for the car to be approved and all the paperwork to be done. Hiram and Jared were very explicit as to the procedures and what we were doing or had to do. I never felt lost or confused. At the end of the day, the car was given to me washed and ready for me to take home. I have had experiences with VW cars before, so I know that they last, but be sure that I will go to them first when I get a new car! Love the overall experience! Definitely will recommend to anyone that asks! Keep up the good work and customer service guys!!! Awesome Job!!! More

These are the people who give car salesmen a bad name and have mastered the old yet disgusting practice of bait and switch. I just returned from wasting 3 hours of my life thinking we had made a deal after l have mastered the old yet disgusting practice of bait and switch. I just returned from wasting 3 hours of my life thinking we had made a deal after looking at different cars, test driving the one I liked, negotiating, agreeing on a final price and signing the buyer's order with the salesman AND the manager only for the manager to come back later trying to raise the price by $2000 alleging they had made a mistake and were working off the wrong stock number. Their timing was perfect as I had expressed my commitment to buy and had just finished filling out the. Credit app. They thought they had me with their sheepish attitude claiming the error; little did they know I got up and left. I wonder if I should denounce these deceptive practices to the State's Attorney's office. More

I would just like to say after looking around at different cars and different dealerships, the experience I had with those other dealers did not even compare to the service and professionalism I rec different cars and different dealerships, the experience I had with those other dealers did not even compare to the service and professionalism I received at Lakeland Volswagen. From the test drive to purchase it was completely satisfying and pressure free. I would like to recognize your outstanding salesman, Hiram Mendez. He made this experience easy and carefree. He has a wonderful attitude and is extremely knowledgeable in the cars he sells. He truly loves Volkswagen and it shows. Even after the sale he called us today to ask if we had any questions and if we did do not hesitate to call him anytime or come by and he will help us out. I would also like to recognize Marina, Internet Sales Manager. My wife was working with her all morning asking questions and working details of the purchase. Which went flawless. This is our second Volkswagen purchase in a little over a year. We wanted to not only buy locally but we know from personal experience how easy the service department is to work with. That meant a lot to us. I would without hesitation recommend Lakeland Volkswagen to anyone I know that is looking for a new car. More
