If I could give negative stars on the service department I would. I am never going to Mohawk Honda for service ever again! I’ve been there 2 times for service and both times they messed up my service. Let’s I would. I am never going to Mohawk Honda for service ever again! I’ve been there 2 times for service and both times they messed up my service. Let’s begin with the first visit. One of the things I asked for when making the appointment and arriving for the appointment was a simple oil and filter change. When I got the car back, the oil was not changed and the multipoint inspection indicated the oil levels were good. Two days later my oil light went on and I had to do it myself. On the second and most recent visit, I came in on a wednesday for several services, one being my windshield wipers, as they were working but misaligned. They could not complete this service on Wednesday because they had to order parts, and asked me to come back Friday. Okay. Friday rolls around and I drop off my car before work at 2 pm, and was told I could pick up the car after closing at 8 pm as long as I paid over the phone and had a spare key to unlock it. My service advisor, Gunnar Shifley, said he would be there until 5 and would call me when it’s done. Okay. 4 pm comes on Friday and I am left a voicemail that says the part they ordered is broken and they will have to do it Saturday. I tried to call my service advisor, and was told he left early and wasn’t going to be back all weekend. I understand things happen and stuff breaks, so I said fine I will pick up my car tonight and bring it back Saturday morning before work at 8 am, as they offered me a rental for the inconvenience. 2 minutes after offering the rental on the phone, I’m told by both mike Malone and Ian O’Connor that I should just “pay for an Uber” to get to work instead. I did not pay tens of thousands of dollars for a car just to have to take an Uber for something that wasn’t even my fault! What happened to getting a rental?? Then I was told by Ian O’Connor that he would pay double for my Uber ($20 is nothing to take off the price when you’ve just spent $1,500 and they’re screwing you over and leaving you carless). I was also extremely offended when they said this to me, because you could tell they did not care that they left me without a car at last minute. They then say that the next day they will drop my car off to me at my job when it’s done before 2 pm, which is when I get out of work on Saturday. So 1:40 rolls around Saturday and I was told that there is only one driver, so they will have to have a shuttle pick me up and bring me there. They did not show up to my job until 2:30, not only did I miss a doctors appointment, but I also had to make my SO leave work early to come get me and bring me to get my car because I could not wait. When I arrived to pick up my car, some old guy argued with me about calling me to make sure I was still getting out at 2 to come pick me up, why would my work hours suddenly change out of nowhere? Anyways, the service there sucks, the employees are rude, and they don’t know what the xxxx they’re doing cause I even left a list in my car of everything I needed done because they didn’t do my oil change last time and they STILL forgot to put new wiper blades on after they fixed the wipers. Good luck to anyone else that has to deal with their xxxx. More

Just purchased our 3rd Honda! To say we are 'lifers' at Mohawk Honda would be an understatement. My wife and I have been part of the Mohawk Honda family for about 13 years now. Mos To say we are 'lifers' at Mohawk Honda would be an understatement. My wife and I have been part of the Mohawk Honda family for about 13 years now. Most recently, my wife's car (of too many years) was dying so we headed back to MH to purchase our third Honda - a CRV (the first two were Accords). As always, we were treated with kindness, respect, no-pressure purchasing and total professionalism. We were offered a great trade in that we could not refuse as well as credit for recent repairs on her vehicle, which was extremely generous of them. We were assisted by some great people who we were so fortunate to have worked with - first, our amazing, patient sales agent - Chris Taylor was a pleasure to work with. Whatever we wanted, he took care of. Additionally, there are many more wonderful people we'd like to mention: Brittany, our vehicle exchange specialist was on the ball 24/7; Mark Ellis who IS one of the nicest guys on the planet - seriously; Prince Ramnarine, our delivery specialist who took time to explain all the exciting and new gadgetry and all the folks in service we have gotten to know over the years - especially Jenny Estrada, Doug Glass and Ian O'Connor. Service Department to repair frozen front driver's seat The driver's seat would not move forward or backward, and was frozen in a position that was not conducive for driving. I did not make an appointment to have it repaired, but just showed up at the Service Department. They took it in with no questions, and had it repaired within 90 minutes. The Service Rep was extremely friendly and helpful. More

Always a pleasant experience I'm on my 5th or 6th Honda and have dealt with Mohawk Honda from the very beginning from the time they were based on State St, Schenectady to their ne I'm on my 5th or 6th Honda and have dealt with Mohawk Honda from the very beginning from the time they were based on State St, Schenectady to their newest facility just outside the city. Everyone including the finance manager, service staff, and in particular Mike Bennice the sales agent treat me with courtesy and go the distance to ensure my satisfaction. I love my Honda. Thank you. Explained to me what was done, what were the results, what should be done next time I come around, even explained standards vs what my car is, really good to know how well my car is performing.
