The team at Walker Ford has been extremely helpful with any concerns I may have had in my car buying experience. They provided me with the right price and found me a great interest rate on my loan. Denise any concerns I may have had in my car buying experience. They provided me with the right price and found me a great interest rate on my loan. Denise has been extremely helpful by providing a loner vehicle while I was having window tint installed. She even went out of her way to deliver the loaner to my place of work and drop off my vehicle when it was done. Overall I would say I have been completely satisfied with my decision to purchase my new Focus from Walker Ford. More

I have heard that Walker Ford was a reputable and quality dealership. I watched their ads in the local the Tampa Bay Times and compared their pricing models VS other dealerships and felt comfortable that the dealership. I watched their ads in the local the Tampa Bay Times and compared their pricing models VS other dealerships and felt comfortable that they were a solid dealer. My neighbor bought from them and told me that he had an excellent experience and would buy there again. From the minute I walked in, the staff was extremely courteous, friendly and willing to explain everything in detail. They didn't rush me, and really cared to know that I was okay and understood the paperwork and later on, each of the features of the vehicle. They even helped coach me regarding the best finance program with my interests in mind. As the deal was being processed, numerous employees approached me and thanked me for joining their "family". They made me really feel wonderful. Everything they promised, they delivered. This store is one class act and I would highly recommend them to anyone shopping for a new car. Now I know why they won Ford's distinguished Presidents Award for 2012...I'm sure they will accomplish that again in 2013. More

Walker Ford treated us like family, which made the experience genuinely cordial and as stressless as car shopping can be. Tracey expertly handled the details and even made sure we were able to do some experience genuinely cordial and as stressless as car shopping can be. Tracey expertly handled the details and even made sure we were able to do something for the troops in the process. Brett helped us find optimal financing package and explained each step. I used to say I wanted a car buying experience to be I did not feel completly taken advantage of. This experience shows it can be mutually beneficial when focused on the long run and not the one commission. More

I found what was the PERFECT truck for what my wife and I wanted and needed on Walker Ford's website in November of 2012. I called and made an appointment to come see it the next day, but unfortunately it wa wanted and needed on Walker Ford's website in November of 2012. I called and made an appointment to come see it the next day, but unfortunately it was off site at a body shop getting some touch-ups, no big deal - I still put a deposit on it because we really wanted this truck. I waited over the weekend for the truck to be returned to the dealership, and was finally able to go see it on that Tuesday. When it came time to test drive the truck it was being detailed, when the detailer was pulling it out of the bay, he managed to break the passenger side mirror off. No big deal, they said they would replace it. I test drove the truck and noticed a few of the electronics inside weren't working correctly. Irene and I returned to the dealership to finish the paperwork and I made my concerns known. I was given a "we promise to fix" paper listing the issues to be fixed: Broken Mirror Steering Wheel Volume controls not working Scratches in paint on back of cab I purchased the truck and went home, only to discover a few more issues: A/C only operated on HIGH setting Rear seat DVD player non functional Driver's side heated seat non functional When I notified Irene of the issues, it was agreed that they would all be fixed when I brought the truck back when the new mirror arrived from Ford Parts warehouse at the end of the week. 3 weeks later, after delays "because of Thanksgiving" the mirror finally showed up and I went back to the dealership. Sean, the used car tech, fixed the A/C controller and installed the new mirror (which was black, and my truck is silver). I was told the volume controls couldn't be fixed because the in-dash stereo was aftermarket. and I was told the same for the DVD player in the back - but they "knew a radio guy" that could fix it and send the bill to the dealership. I tried making an appointment with "the paint guy" (even though the dealership as a collision center on site) and he would see me after the Christmas holidays. No big deal, I can drive around with an odd colored mirror for a few weeks. When the appointment time came to re-paint the mirror, I dropped the truck off with a few requests. I wanted everything fixed because in just over a week I was moving to Tennessee. I also asked that the oil be changed since I was moving I wouldn't be able to use my 3 free oil changes in Tennessee. A couple days later, I get a phone call that the truck is ready and I arrange to pick it up the next day. Imagine my anger when I show up to find the truck was not "ready". Keep in mind, this is the end of January 2013 and I purchased the truck in early November 2012. The mirror had been painted, and they had attempted to replace the heated seat module, but that didn't fix the problem. I was told there are 2 modules, and the "other one" that I needed was on back order until May. At that point we make arrangements to send it to me when it arrives and I can have another dealer install it. I then asked to speak to a different manager. I was introduced to George Parker. He said he would look into it and we would work everything out. He wanted me to go to his "radio guy" to have the DVD player and dash units looked at. He also said he would provide me with his cost price on a spray in bedliner for the truck. This was all great, but I had 2 days before I was moving to Tennessee, not anywhere near enough time to get these things done. I have since left messages trying to find out where we go from here. I have actually talked to people a few times to tell me that the missing part still isn't in from Ford. I even called today because I am going to be in Tampa for a friend's wedding and thought I could pick up the part while in town, but George told me he would check first thing in the morning and call me back. Call backs don't happen at Walker Ford once they have your money. This is what I want: I want a written statement that I can take the truck to a dealership in TN to have all the remaining issues fixed, and that all invoices and charges be sent to Walker Ford. I paid a lot for this truck because it had SO many features to have them NOT WORK. Issues needing to be resolved: Steering wheel volume controls not working Driver's side heated seat not working Rear DVD player not working Something to make me a happy customer, I still have family in the Tampa area that will not buy from Walker. EDIT- So originally submitted my review on Wednesday May 8, 2013 and sent an email to the General Sales Manager Ivey Thigpen at the same time, so he knew about my issues. Mr. Thigpen responded to my email that he would look into the situation and let me know by Friday. Now it is Tuesday May 14, 2013 and I have yet to hear from Mr. Thigpen or from Mr. Parker like they said they would. Beware - if you give Walker Ford any money, they will stop caring about you. The only way I suggest anyone do business with this dealership, is by WALKING AWAY while you still have your sanity. More
