Our salesman went out of his way to help us with our purchase. When we first went to look at the vehicle listed it was closing time, yet he unlocked the door, and took all of our information. The vehicle was out for detailing at that time but he told us that he would make sure the vehicle would be held for us to have first dibs at even though we would not be able to make it for another day and a half. When we did come to see the vehicle, he had it out and ready for us. We did find it to be one of the better ones we had looked at. However, we were concerned because all of them seemed to have an oil slick located on the same spot on the underbelly of the car. After helping us to look any information up on it that we could via the internet, he was able to arrange to have it put on a hoist for us to look under. In the end it turned out that it was because of the oil filter location and that everthing was dry. He let us mull all things over very patiently betwen my husband and myself, let us crawl in and out of trying to get the feel for travelers in the back seat as well as the front. All in all, it was one of the better experiences that I have ever had at a dealership. There was no pressure we felt for him, he pretty much let the vehicle speak for itself, and when it came to talking price, again, no added pressure. We had a bottom line we were trying to meet, and he helped us to make that happen. I would happily recommend anyone in seach of a vehicle new or used to Joe Bauman at Dave Arbogast, Troy Ohio. More

A friend of the family had recommended that we check out Dave Arbogast as they have been purchasing all of their automobiles there for years. We were in need of a good used car for my son and had a very tig Dave Arbogast as they have been purchasing all of their automobiles there for years. We were in need of a good used car for my son and had a very tight budget to work from. My initial contact was a phone call to Arbogast and I spoke to Joe Bauman. He was very courtious and customer oriented focusing on our needs to help find the best vehicle to fit our needs. Once Joe had our information he went right to work for us. We made an appointment to test out a few vehicles on Saturday; Joe had found a very nice low mileage Saturn that was within my son's price range. It didn't take long to realize that Joe had done his home work and delivered! It was a pleasure doing business with Joe and the Arbogast family. More

We found online a Hyundai that had almost all the options we were looking for. We decided to check it out. When we arrived at Arbogast, Joe greeted us immediately. We informed him of our interest and he directed us to the vehicle. As we indicated our interest to drive it, Joe informed us they would be closing in ten minutes. He offered the car for an overnight trial and we accepted. (Not an option you get from every dealer.) Since the following day was Saturday we took our time checking out the Hyundai. We ended up not really satisfied with this particular model. As we returned to the dealers we took another look around. Joe of course was right there helping us all the way. He even had other customers he was working with at the same time. As we checked out other cars & suv's nothing really got our attention. By this time Joe was tuned in to what we were looking for and suggested a Saturn Vue, redline series. We liked the sporty look, and it had the extra's we were looking for. After taking turns driving it we decided to purchase the Saturn. As negotiations ran after hours. Not once did we feel rushed or pressured. Everyone involved was very gracious and helpful. ~Kiddoes to Joe for being one of the best car salesmen we've ever dealt with. Super nice and very knowledgeable. More

We went to the dealership just to see a Jeep Compass that we had found on the internet. We were promptly greeted by Joe, and felt very comfortable with him immediately. No pressure, which is what everyone dreads when visiting a dealership. We were invited to take a test drive, which we did. Upon returning, we were again promptly greeted by Joe. We were invited to his office, offered a refreshment, and discussed price. We came to an agreement and were taken to the finance department. The reason I gave the OK rating on my overall experience, is that the finance person was not happy about taking care of us after closing time, and it was very rushed, and we left not really knowing what happened?! But when we left that office, Joe was right there happy to stay after closing and had the car ready for us to drive home. We were also not happy about the $250 doc fee, as we know that this is a pure profit fee that is not required, but we paid it, as we felt we were getting a good price on the car. Joe Bauman is what made our experience a good one, as rushed as it was, and we would definately recommend him to others. More

I had contacted other dealerships from seeing them on the internet and the sales person either didn't get back to me or they did not take me seriously. I called Dave Arbogast about a 2008 Saturn Outlook, there website was easy to follow and useful. When I called I spoke with a Joe Bauman who immediately went into action. He took all of my information and within an hour he told me I was approved and that I could come get my vehicle. I was excited to say the least. On the day I went to pick up my vehicle, it was sitting waiting for me, freshly washed!!! It took no longer than an hour to sign paperwork and for me to be back on the road. Dave Arborgast and Joe Bauman made me whole again. I have found where I will be purchasing my vehicles from now on, The Dave Arborgast Family. They are now offically part of my extended family. The weather was unfavorable for outdoor shopping so Joe invited us inside his office, offered us a refreshment, and proceeded to use his computer to find us the right vehicle on the lot according to our needs. In a very short time we had found the perfect vehicle that met all our criteria. Joe assisted us in examing, test driving, and learning the instruments of the vehicle. Joe never pressured us in any way. He assisted us in a payment plan and warranty options that fit our budget. Before we knew it we were on our way in the perfect fit vehicle for us with Joe's immpeccable customer service. From the salesperson to the secretary to the finance agent, we were extremely impressed and 100% satisfied with our experience. I would recomend Dave Arbogast to my own family members and anyone else in need of a great new vehicle. We were previous customers in the past and will return again in the future! More

We went in to trade in our van. We were pleased with the service in checking the value of our vehicle. Also, the timeliness of the quote was nice.
