I had scheduled an appointment for a recall on my Subaru. They had informed me when I made the appointment it would take 2-2.5 hours to complete. Once I got there they let me know that it was going to take They had informed me when I made the appointment it would take 2-2.5 hours to complete. Once I got there they let me know that it was going to take 3-4 hours. No problem. Three hours later I gave them a call to get a status. "Sorry your service rep is not available and probably on lunch." Again no problem I will wait. So I call an hour later "Sorry your service rep is not available". So I asked if anyone can provide any updates. "Sorry only your service rep can provide a status." This is hour four and the time I should be picking up my car. Two hours later after two additional calls with the same response my car is now ready for pickup, So my car was there a total of 6 hours and not a soul called me to inform me it would be delayed or that it was ready for pickup. Based on what I wrote above you can come up with your own conclusion. More

The automated message systems don't work when you need real communication from service manager. There was very little communication between the service manager and I during the three weeks it took to serv real communication from service manager.
