Dan Cassin was great, as usual (I’ve been a customer for 9 years and counting, always helped by him)! Service center took longer than I thought was necessary, as usual. The show room was clean, and full on a Saturday, but did not seem overcrowded. We had seen the Crosstrek I wanted, online, and I eventually chose that after looking at the other ones on display. (There were only a few 2024s) Everyone was very nice and was chock-full of information. Call the only irritation was who I will call the finance guy. I did not get his name. We waited and waited for him to be available, not sure why, since I was paying cash. When we were finally ushered in, I was subjected to a long winded automatically delivered extended warranty spiel. I said, immediately, that I was not interested in an extended warranty of any type. That did not stop him. Finally, I interrupted the stream of words to say that I absolutely was not interested. That made him move onto the next section of less expensive warrantees. From the look on my face, I think he finally got the drift and closed his folder. I just wanted to get out of there at that point. The rest of my dealership experience was as delightful as it, can be, considering the stressful circumstances. My sales person, Tina Barber, was especially kind and friendly. I prefer to deal with a female sales staff, and I appreciated seeing a few of them at your dealership. When I returned with my cashiers check to pick up the car, Jonathan Norris was very patient in explaining a few key operational bit sso that I could get going. He also put on my temp plate. At least I think Jonathan was his name. I’m terrible at remembering names.. The person to whom Tina Barber had introduced me, because she was going to be on vacation on my pick up day, was Nick. He was upstairs when I arrived, and the message came down that he was busy. I was two hours later than expected because of difficulties in finding a bank branch that would issue a cashiers check of this amount, but I called the dealership and left a message with someone that I would be late. Jeremy Zimmerman from Groove called and asked how he could assist us with our search. We made an appointment with him to look at some vehicles at Groove the following day. Jeremy and the financial director, Alan Harrison, were very knowledgeable and professional throughout the vehicle selection and financing process. We returned for the instructional session a couple of weeks after we purchased the car and greatly appreciated Brendon Hancock explaining how to use all the features in the car. It was a pleasure working with everyone at Groove. We are enjoying driving our new Subaru Outback! More

A Very Happy Camper I am delighted to have been to Groove Subaru and I will go back there even though for routine maintenance it will be slightly out of my way. I have never had such a good experience with a car dealer. Everything was new to me as I have never had a leased vehicle before but they were all very patient with me and explained all of it to my delight and satisfaction. I am sure to have more questions down the line but I feel very comfortable asking for the information and I know that I will get straight answers and won't be made to feel like a fool for asking the obvious. I know they must get the same questions over and over again but they never showed the least bit of annoyance or impatience. That can be very reassuring to the one who is new to the game and does not clearly see all the factors at play. I was very pleased to have worked with Jonathan Norris. He was very kind and even went out of his way to be helpful and considerate. He never made me feel pressured to do anything and he had all the answers I needed at his fingertips. He was extremely professional and also gave me some time to myself to think about things and then decide on what was the best option for me. Any of the employees or managers I dealt with were very kind, considerate, and above all professional. I have not had such a pleasant experience since I left the Marine Corps, many years ago. It was refreshing and so nice to know that some of the old values are still being applied. I may have rated "customer service" when I have not had the full experience to do so but I do feel that customer service is more than just how they handle the routine maintenance issues and because my experience was positive I have shown a rating in that category.
