Great experience. After the Subaru dealer in Tallahassee was not willing to negotiate the price for a new Outback I web searched other dealers in North Florida & heard After the Subaru dealer in Tallahassee was not willing to negotiate the price for a new Outback I web searched other dealers in North Florida & heard back from Subaru of Jacksonvile that same afternoon. Within 2 hrs we had agreed to a sale price and the next day the sale was finalized. I experienced none of the car sales gamesmanship that 2 previous dealers tried, consequently I'm very pleased with Subaru of Jacksonville and highly recommend them. More

I was helped on the phone by Josh who was very friendly and verified the vehicle I was looking for. After making the 2 hour drive from Georgia I was immediately greeted by Josh and he had the vehicle brought up for me to look at. Josh then introduced me to Jerry whom took care of me. Took the car for a test drive and when we got back Jerry was very friendly and honest while negotiating the sale of the vehicle. As this was my first dealer experience buying a car Josh and Jerry made this process very easy and relaxing for me. Great customer service and I will be sure to refer anyone looking to buy a vehicle. Purchase of a new Subaru Outback on 3/29/2014 I initially selected this dealership as it is very close to where I live and it was also a participant in the USAA vehicle purchase program. I received a courtesy email from Mr. Josh Strickland welcoming me to their store and was looking forward to assisting me in making my selection and purchase. I arrived on Friday, 3/28/2014 about fifteen minutes before I was expected and was met by Mr. Josh Strickland as he recognized me based on his awareness of the vehicle I intended to trade, a 1985 300D Mercedes Benz which I purchased new almost twenty-nine years ago. He was very cordial and being I knew (my son-in-law has a Subaru Outback purchased in Tennessee) exactly what I wanted, he immediately escorted me to two vehicles which met the description of what I wanted. He demonstrated an extensive knowledge of his vehicles which confirmed what I already knew about the Outback. We then proceeded to his office and after explaining the personal amenities available we quickly negotiated the details to arrange for an appraisal of my vehicle to trade. I was very pleased with the manner in which my appraisal was conducted as the vehicle and manager were in view at all times and the allowance for my vehicles was reasonable. With no haggling the numbers were quickly worked out and I told Josh that I would call him later on Friday as I had to complete an errand for my wife (she has a heart condition) and would call him later. Late Friday evening I talked with Josh and we made arrangements for me to come back at 2:00 PM on Saturday, 3/29/2014 to complete paperwork and pickup my vehicle. When I arrived on Saturday Josh and his manager along with title clerk had everything in order and we expeditiously completed the process and my vehicle was ready to drive away. Being 73 years old, I have purchased several new vehicles and also having personal experience in the vehicle sales area, my expectations were met to the fullest. Everyone at Subaru of Jacksonville were extremely professional and considerate of me as a customer. Special thanks to Josh and Mr. Kane for a smooth transaction More
