I was so very grateful for the help I received this past week at Toyota due the extraordinary circumstances in my life at that time. I had just had my 2010 Corolla totaled after putting in such an effort to week at Toyota due the extraordinary circumstances in my life at that time. I had just had my 2010 Corolla totaled after putting in such an effort to get the loan paid off and enjoy my golden years without a car payment hanging over my head, being on social security and having 8 grandchildren, this was not easy but I had only 1400.00 left to pay when it was totaled. I had also recently been told that my beloved brother, who is only a year older than I, and who suffers from Alzheimer's, had taken a turn for the worse and was not expected to last the week. Entering the dealership, I was prepared to do battle with any sales professional who came my way. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff took an extraordinary interest in me and my situation and were only so happy to help. Each person at the dealership took the time to make me feel welcome and coo over my little grandson. Our experience at Scranton Toyota surpassed our expectations. The people we met were friendly, informative and extremely knowledgable in their fields. Mark Thomas was our salesperson and he was a perfect match for us. We felt that we were in good hands right from our first phone conversation so by the time we met him a few hours later, we knew we had made a friend. Mark was up front with us the whole way, no battling or bickering with the price. That was truly appreciated. Mark introduced us to Angelo Barretta to sign the paperwork. Angelo, too was extremely knowledgable and helped us to understand the best warranty program for us to purchase. He was like a long lost friend! My husband and he shared many funny experiences about the acquaintances they both knew. We spent many hours that day at the dealership but we were made to feel like part of the family. I will undoubtably refer all of my friends to Scranton Toyota. Mark Thomas is friendly, pleasant, low-key, knowledgeable. He did not get "the manager" to double team me. There was no pressure on me to buy a vehicle immediately or at first look.
