Mark Welcome is the best - he stays on top of things and is very efficient while also being low-key and low pressure. He only calls or texts with relevant information and is an excellent listener, understa is very efficient while also being low-key and low pressure. I came to the dealership through the service department, where they were knowledgeable and helpful, and they communicated well about ongoing service work - and took good car of me and my vehicle. Super rude and unfriendly experience. Everyone looked miserable from the staff to the customers, not a smile or friendly face in sight. No one greeted us at the reception desk. Had to chase down a random staffer to get acknowledge that we even entered the premises. May go as far as to say it was an Invisible Man experience (the book by Ralph Ellison, not the movie, if you know you know), but definitely got a “Get Out” feeling. First time ever visiting a car dealership that didn’t want to sell a car to a paying customer. Basically, the salesman Mark initially refused to grant a pre scheduled test drive, claiming that he didn’t want to put miles on the vehicle, unless we were paying for it in cash only. This happened within seconds of us sitting down and he went on to make a bunch of uncomfortable utterances about it being an very affluent area and people in general not having that kind of money sitting in the bank. Even after entertaining all of his unusual terms and conditions he still came up with weird and less than truthful excuses not to close the deal. Perhaps the car sold before we got there, perhaps he didn’t want to do business with an out of state buyer or perhaps assumptions were made about who we were and what we had as soon as we walked in. Who knows?? But it was a terrible experience and a colossal waste of time. Felt icky, like their inventory was reserved for a “specific group” of people. I would avoid spending your money or time at this place. Very disappointing even with the bar already set low for car sales in general. Very awkward. More
