Found a 2017 used car at MB of Atlanta for my daughter who is returning to college soon. The car is immaculate and the price was great. The team was very professional. My wife and I made an appointment to test drive a vehicle on Jan 28, 2022. We live close, so we headed out about 10 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment. What we didn’t know is, as we were driving th on Jan 28, 2022. We live close, so we headed out about 10 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment. What we didn’t know is, as we were driving the sales representative was repeatedly emailing us asking if we were still coming for our appointment. Not sure why this was happening. Upon arrival I dropped my wife at the front door, and I parked the car. When I get inside, we are immediately subjected to a sales pitch. We clearly stated when making the appointment, we are here for a test drive. Upon finding out we were only here for the test drive like the appointment stated, Nick Karaca, the sales representative, dismissed us. We were then passed off to another sales representative. Prior to passing us off, he repeatedly asked us what year, and model we wanted to test drive. We told him it was stated so clearly in our appointment details, S-Class, 2020 or newer (S560-S580). Instead of retrieving data for 2020 or newer, he pulled multiple listings for 2017 -2019 only. In addition, once passed off to another representative, he failed to provide that representative with the information. He dismissed us by saying, “I have an appointment, this guy will help you”. And he walked away. During our in-the-building session, no one arrived to see Nick other than us. Nick treated us less valuable after realizing we didn’t want to talk about a purchase timeline or budget. This made us feel like we were in the wrong dealership. All it takes to lose a customer sometimes is one bad apple. Nick was certainly that apple. If this is how Mercedes-Benz treats potential owners, we will definitely take our business elsewhere.
