Our car buying journey began in October 2023, when we started test driving different models, including the CX90 PHEV at Jim Ellis. Over the next couple of months as we continued comparison shopping, Noel would check in to see if we were still in the market, without being overbearing. December arrived, and we were finally set on leasing the CX90 PHEV, so we requested quotes from different Mazda dealerships over email/text Noel and his manager, Conley, provided detailed quotes with all fees listed, as we requested. I appreciated their willingness to answer all my questions over email/text, such as pricing for gap insurance and whether their F&I department accepted MSDs. Ultimately, Noel and Conley recognized they were dealing with educated buyers, so they presented a competitive offer for us to move forward. Heads up: the dealership won't take deposits to reserve a vehicle already on the lot. To his credit, Noel was upfront about this when we asked during the online negotiations and mentioned there were options to sign electronically, but we preferred to close the deal at the dealership once we were back in town at the end of the month. The car we had originally negotiated on ended up selling before we made it back to the dealership, but after a little back and forth, Noel and Conley were able to honor the same pricing on an alternative option I appreciated Daryl, the GM, coming by to thank me for my business as I was waiting to wrap up the deal. Shout-out to Mia for a quick onboarding process and Rhyan in F&I for running the numbers on a complicated deal! Thanks to the whole Jim Ellis staff (especially Noel and Conley) for their efforts to earn our business! More

I honestly dread car shopping because of my experiences in the past. It seems inevitable that there will be excessive wait times, evasive answers, frustrating back and forth over the price, double sales ta in the past. It seems inevitable that there will be excessive wait times, evasive answers, frustrating back and forth over the price, double sales talk, unwanted dealer add-ons and confusing paperwork. This was not my experience with Sales Consultant Noel Bernard. He made eye contact, listened to me, understood my needs and worked to get me the best price for my trade in and the car I was purchasing. He was respectful and truly seemed to care about my needs. Noel, and other Jim Ellis staff including Ryan Johnson, the Finance Manager, and Bruno Nakamura, the Sales Manager, were straight forward and transparent with pricing, and NO dealer add-ons. I could understand every fee, and all were appropriate. They even provided me a car on the lot that had more options for the same price as one I wanted with minimal options but was in transit. They were generous which is a word I have never used with a car dealership. The only area that can improve is the overall time it took for the paperwork to be completed but this could have been delayed because they were short staffed. Noel, Ryan, Bruno, and Jim Ellis are recreating the experience all want in a car dealership, one of trust, respect, and care. Thank you! More

This was my first experience with Mazda. Noel truly is an easy-going salesman. He listened and didn’t pressure me. Noel was responsive and available as needed.
