My experience with Kamal Benhoummad and BMW of Alexandria was deeply disappointing. I traded a recently leased BMW for another vehicle, and my monthly payment increased from $748 to $1,534.49. Within 2 days was deeply disappointing. I traded a recently leased BMW for another vehicle, and my monthly payment increased from $748 to $1,534.49. Within 2 days of fully understanding the financial impact of the transaction, I contacted the dealership, requested that the lease be unwound, and offered to return the vehicle. Rather than working with me to explore a meaningful resolution, General Sales Manager Kanchan Sedhai defended the dealership, declined my request and ultimately advised that nothing could be done. While an exchange was mentioned, no solution was offered that addressed the financial burden I was trying to resolve. I also made multiple written requests for my complete transaction file. The documentation I eventually received was incomplete, requiring repeated follow-up. What disappointed me most was not simply the outcome, but the lack of willingness to understand my concerns or work collaboratively toward a fair resolution. Once the paperwork was signed, I felt that customer service ended. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend BMW of Alexandria. As an additional note, I called BMW of Rockville, MD who spent time reviewing options and did everything they could to assist me, including calculating a timeline to help me get out of the lease at the right time. You can count on the fact that I will go back to BMW in Rockville, MD. More

The sales process was pretty straightforward until financing got involved and initially showed me an interest rate in the high 7% range while I have an 820 credit score. It was reduced after they submitted to more banks other than BMW and CapitalOne. Then came the sales pitch for all of the additional warranties. This needs to be done during the sales process and NOT the end when all you want to do is sign the paperwork. I then purchased the dealer applied Cilajet ceramic coating. What a mistake! As I read on a few sites, the dealer is not a professional detailer and it really showed. The First time they returned the car with water marks on the hood, dirty door panels and had not touched the roof. To make it up to me they brought a loaner to my workplace and took the car. I got it back yesterday and although it looks “cleaner”, there are still some swirl marks and hard water spots still on the hood. Like other websites have said, give your $1K to a professional detailer and skip the dealer! More

BEWARE HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE ** **GENERAL MANAGER OMAR STWODAH WILL NOT RETURN YOUR CALLS** Once the dealership makes their sale they forget about you and fail to provide assistance. I purchased a OMAR STWODAH WILL NOT RETURN YOUR CALLS** Once the dealership makes their sale they forget about you and fail to provide assistance. I purchased an $80k vehicle from this dealership in November 2023. The vehicle fit the criteria for a $3700 tax credit which I took advantage of. Fast forward to June 2024 I get a call from the IRS saying I owed them $3700. Upon further inquiry the IRS stated that the dealership failed to electronically submit the tax credit form to them. The IRS advised me to call the dealership to get them to fix the issue in to still take advantage of the tax credit. I contacted the dealership multiple times and am advised that only the general manager, OMAR STWODAH was the only person who could help me. I have called continuously for the last month a am getting transferred to voicemails that never get returned. My wife physically showed up there when OMAR STWODAH is working and waited for a couple hours just for him to not be able to meet with her. The IRS advises that the issue has not been remedied. I called again today and keep getting sent to voicemails that didn’t work and eventually when I did get a human being on the phone they said Omar wasn’t around and wouldn’t be back until Monday. When I asked to be transferred to his voicemail they advised the phone system was down and they couldn’t transfer me. This is like the Chappelle Show Pop Copy episode except this time it isn’t funny. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE. More
