After two bad experiences in GA, we found Phil Porter Jr. In Jacksonville who worked hard to find us the exact car we wanted. Subaru of Jacksonville restored our faith in the new car buying process! I corresponded with Phil Porter, Jr. and he promptly responded to my internet inquiry. He arranged for a test drive and thoroughly addressed my questions regarding the vehicle. He was courteous and eff responded to my internet inquiry. He arranged for a test drive and thoroughly addressed my questions regarding the vehicle. He was courteous and efficient in the price negotiation. He presented an exceptional finance offering opportunity which I accepted. Noticing that I had purchased lug locks for the vehicle from the parts department, he offered and arranged for their installation. Since I was from out of town, he arranged to transport the vehicle to my residence and arranged for his return transportation for my convenience. This required 2 additional hours of his time as well as another driver from the dealership to whom I am most grateful. As if this wasn't enough, I noticed this morning that he had filled the vehicle with gas just prior to delivery to me at my residence! The service and customer focus is exceptional. I recommend this dealership highly exceptional. More

He was excellent and even set up my phone with the hands-free system in the vehicle for me. Much more pleasurable experience than with the other area dealer we had visited the day before (who told me I couldn't get the vehicle in orange unless it came from AL or GA, then I found one across town). Knew their stuff (I do my research and typically know more about the vehicle going in than most salespersons, so I know if they don't). Seemed fair and honest and if the service department is much the same, it could be the start of a long relationship. Got a certified pre-owned Crosstrek with low miles (service loaner) and better warranty (7 yrs/100.000 miles) than the brand new ones! More

The dealership was honest, straightforward, low pressure and friendly. I had done my homework prior to coming into the showroom and also contacted them by email for an appointment. Once there, they offere and friendly. I had done my homework prior to coming into the showroom and also contacted them by email for an appointment. Once there, they offered a fair price for my trade in and quoted an attractive price for the new car without needing to go through too many painful negotiating steps. In addition, the members of the sales team worked with each other effortlessly so that when my primary salesperson was busy, others immediately stepped up to make sure I was being taken care of without any appearance of trying to squeeze themselves into the deal or steal a customer. This happened even with tests drives that took the other person away from the showroom floor for an extended period of time. I had a tow hitch added to the car so took delivery the next day and the car was ready, detailed and spotless when I came for pick up. I highly recommend this dealership and the individuals I worked with. More
